Firstly, I’ve seen STP live; they’re the real deal. This song transfers very well live. Secondly, I’m a drummer, so I notice timing instinctively whenever I listen to music. I mention that because I noticed you were consistently bobbing your head to the off-beat in this video, but keeping the time. Rarely do people sense the off-beat - let alone the straight 4/4 (quarter note pulse). Well done! 🤘

I can see it in your eyes, you love this. It’s very stereotypical masculine, Neanderthal in a good way. A lot of the metal heads I know are super well educated and the nicest people overall. I was a hip hop girl, who listened to bone thugs n harmony, ice cube, ll cool j, cypress hill in the early nineties, then I saw Korn, they dressed similar to the hip hop/skater scene and that pulled me into all the nu metal bands. But I never stopped listening to rap, wu-tang , Busta rhymes, Jurassic 5, ludacris mixed with Deftones, limp bizkit, snot (r.i.p) ,Slipknot, Otep, coal chamber, glassjaw, and off course a lot of The prodigy. Then I evolved my taste broader and broader. If i listen to slipknots first album today, it sounds like pop almost, but in the beginning I thought it was the heaviest band ever.
