HALA (Hearts Awakened Live Alive) -> Halateez are the black pirates with the fedora and the mask that fought against the government or the entity that controls and bans everything like emotions, feelings, arts etc, and in this world/dimension not only emotions are lost but also GRAVITY. - 1 section (oversimplified and certainly with many errors) is a summary of ATEEZ's LORE: There is an ancient artifact called CROMER that looks like an hourglass that helped them travel through different dimensions, time etc, and with that artifact they came into our dimension and met Ateez members. Because the lore is complex yet clear, once you understand it, and because I suck when I have to summarize something, let's just say that some sh*t happened to all of them, there is this White Masked man, actually a cyborg, (that appeared in many of their MVs like Answer, Fireworks etc) that has the task to captured the HALATEEZ, because they are against the government they went into hiding so they are nowhere to be found. - Following section is the interpretation of this MV, and the meaning of the title. Halateez members in this MV seem to be disappeared, and there are people who are waiting for them to return, that's why it seems like they are some sort of cult, but new EIGHT appeared and according to other atinys, they called themselves HALAZIA=HALA + ZIA (word that might mean LIGHT), that's why the lyrics says: BE THE LIGHT, OH, HALAZIA. They are the new one who will help this dimension to regain love, emotions and gravity. This song is on their new album SPIN OFF: FROM THE WITNESS, so as the title suggest this is from the witness POV they might be the 4 individuals at the end of the video or someone else. The new 8 might be the Ateez members of our dimension who came back to save HALATEEZ's dimensions, because they might have disappeared not because they went into hiding but because they may have lost against the government. The overall timeline is still a mess as of right now (even though Hongjoong described it in an interview) because there are some important info I wanted to explain but I couldn't find where to put on my comment, like: °°° Yeosang, the one with the chains and deep voice, might have those chains because at the end of DEJA VU MV, he had the CROMER but it broke, so many interpreted it like him trying to save his members but he returned to halateez's dimension and was captured by the government that's why he was also in a glass prison in SAY MY NAME MV. So that's why he is the one captured or chained in many ATEEZ’s MVs. That's it. I hope someone will be able to make a video to summarize the entire Ateez's lore so that everybody can understand it more. Sorry for this long, extremely boring and full of grammar errors but I hope the core of my comment was understandable and helped you

ateez has a very complicated but AMAZING storyline that connects their songs, you will notice songs like sector 1 at the end of their earlier song answer, like their connections and storylines are amazing

I've read that Zia means light in Arabic as well as Latin. The black mass, or in their world, their "Moon" or "Eye in the sky" had to come down because it was watching their every move. It was even floating over the audience at their concerts this year. San at the end sacrifices himself to protect the other. But they needed witnesses. That is who is at the very end of the video. With the Bluebird flying over them. This is also a spin off from the main storyline. Their current album is called "Spin off:Witness" and the last song on the album is called Outro: Bluebird." They could be combining the Hindu mythology with Arabic or Latin roots, and adding some of their own story to it. This is really amazing story telling and it has a lot of ATINY hooked. Oh and BTW, there is a Korean couple that does reactions...they watched the video and broke down the lyrics. They also said that ATEEZ was singing it and rapping the song like a prayer. That's why the ppl at the end looked down there because they're the witness as op said. Also San sacrificed his self fighting the white mask guy in their kingdom answer stage

Haha getting-sick (but fighting it off) Anthony is freaking hilarious!!! This is an amazing comeback with such a deep and intricate storyline that it's pretty difficult to comprehend. From what I understand (which isn't much), HALATeez (the black hat guys in HALA HALA, Say My Name and Answer) failed in their mission to save the previous universe so now it's time for a new 8 to rise up and fight. It's tricky to understand a time-travelling Space-Pirate storyline, though haha.

Guorilla, I think they were fighting and rebelling against the regime that led to it. There is no emotion or music, everything is forbidden, so the revolution arose. Gorillas and here, I think, are 8 new ones. They are not halaateez I think they are halaATEEz. either they died. Or because of the abundance of injustice, 8 appeared halazia to revolt, along the lines of halaateez that the story has dimensions and is linked to each other from the beginning, since the beginning of their first song, Kings of the Pirates
