Everything he said about this figure is true-my buddy and I are avid collectors, and coming upon her, I picked her up for both of us. No regrets. Jada is just doing a master class on collectible action figure execution. Sculpt, paint, accessories, articulation, and price point. They're styling on everyone even NECA. Hasbro should be embarrassed by their product comparison. Someone described Fei Long as hand candy, when an action figure just moves in a intuitive and fun way that maintains the overall illusion, it's a selling point in itself.

I bought the mini My Arcade Street Fighter 2 game. I have it displayed on my desk at work with Ryu playing at the controls and Chun Li cheering him on standing at the side of the arcade machine. I have caught many a coworker stealing a glance at the setup and cracking a smile.

Just got her in. Man, what an gorgeous figure! She's my first Jada figure, and honestly, she's making me wanna go back and buy the rest of them, at least the Street Fighter guys. Never even played the games, but reviews for her were so good, plus she's easily available online at a decent price point, that I had to try her out. I don't regret it one bit. She's easily one of the best figures I've picked up this year. Jada is doing some fine work here, I can't wait for them to get more licenses! Imagine a Castlevania line from them! A Zelda line! Oh, the possibilities are endless!

I'm actually collecting only Marvel Legends, but after your reviews of Fei Long and Ryu I just had to buy these. Fei Long is awesome, he poses better than any Spider-Man or deluxe Black Widow. Still waiting for my Ryu and Chun Li. They sell out like crazy!

I've never played Street Fighter, but I'm all-in on this line so far and I absolutely love this figure. She will be in my Top 10 FOTY, if not Top 5. There's just no arguing the passion that Jada puts into these figures. Every decision they make is deliberate, and they seem to want to maximize the function and value you get for the price. The articulation works with her design, the textures feel wonderful in hand, and I can't think of a better figure that moves as well as it does while looking this good. It honestly is the perfect blend between aesthetics and function. When people always talk about "would you rather a figure look good or have articulation," throw all that out the window because this figure is proof that you can have both without sacrificing either. All that, and she's entirely unique and isn't just another base-body Shriek repaint. It's absurd how great this figure is when compared to other toys at this price. And the fact that they delayed this figure by a few months to get it right is perfectly fine! Look at the earlier samples of this figure, and tell me you don't notice a difference! I'm perfectly happy with waiting a little bit longer if this is the result we get in the end.

QOD - It depends...for some characters I have many from different lines, but generally don't have full lines from multiple companies for the same IP. I'm not really into SF, but I've picked up Ryu & Chun Li and have been pleasantly surprised. Will be picking up Dhalsim and Bison once they are released. As you mentioned, these figures are just fun to mess around with, so even if I'm not a huge fan of the IP I still really like the figures. I'm looking forward to Jada's Mega Man line and hope it's of similar quality, granted I assume the articulation will have to be different given the weird dimensions of a lot of those characters.

I think like any toy line starting out. Ryu and Fi Long are great for being the first two. There were some flaws that I can't ignore. Chun Li was put on hold. They said they wanted to perfect her. That they did. Female figures can be a challenge. I got mine two days ago. I'm amazed at how she bends forward with that. I mean Hasbro called their Black Widow Super poseable. And she's fine for a Legend. I do like the figure. But she still can't bend forward that well. Chun embarrasses other lines females. Note I'm only talking figures of or near that price range. What is crazy is most of Hasbro's females are... let's say have a body type that they should be able to be that flexible. And Chun Li is a curvy girl with boobs and booty and very muscular legs. Yet way more flexible. I imagine Cammy won't disappoint. I'm really hoping Dhalsim will be up there with Fi long when he happens. But Ken is next. And I'm really dying to see how they handle Honda when they get around to him. He is a big boy. I'm curious to see if even he will be more posable than a Legends figure of his size. But to tell the truth. Chun Li is my main when I played the game. That's who I got comfortable with and learned quickly. Me and her kicked all my friend's asses no matter who they played. That's my girl and she stays on my desk.

I've got all the SOTA STreet Fighters hanging on the room of my office. Then I have loose SOTA. I have SHF ; Ryu, Ken, Chun-li, R. Mika, Sakura, Vega, M.Bison, Rashid. Storm Collectables; Sagat, E. Honda, Zangief. I currently mix them, because the SOTA Revolution figures suck. I thought I would retire/sell my older figures, but I like being able to compare and enjoy each figure for what they are. I also like using the SOTA accessories. So far, JADA is in the lead. I prefer my ladies to look a little more anime. So SHF Chun-li is still my go to. Once I open JADA Chun-li we will see who stays on the shelf and who gets boxed.

Jada is indeed killing it. Can't wait for their Megaman line and more figures in the SF line such as Zangief and Guile. As for Chun-Li, I personally prefer no thigh-swivels and a more seamless sculpt but that just me. Fantastic figure nonetheless.

I will absolutely mix and match multiple brands in one display of these guys. Right now ive got the SHF Ken and the Jada Ryu up there, with chun li and the Shf Akuma coming to me soon! Spices up the display a little in my opinion.

I mix and match my Street Fighter display. I display Storm for the bigger characters like Zangief, Sagat and Balrog, but use Jada, Figuarts, and Sota for the average and smaller characters.

Every night before I go to bed, I pray to the higher powers that Jada gets their hands on the Resident Evil license. A 1/12 scale RE4 Leon with high quality sculpts, articulation, and accessories for a reasonable price would be a dream come true. I cannot wait for their Cyberpunk Edgerunners figures to start rolling out, they look fantastic.

The only nitpick I have is no smiling Chun face, other than that this figure is perfection inbound. The articulation is fantastic for a flexible character like Chun-Li. The best part is that this is a budget figure and it comes with a good arrangement of accessories. And yes she's my Street Fighter main, who I also now save a spot for my Vs game team

I wish Jada would get the Marvel Legends Licence and others. The figures just seem so well articulated with a decent spread of hands, heads, and effects. I'm looking forward to reviews of their other Street Fighter figs. I was only disappointed that Chun Li didn't hand Darwin his head.😂

QOTD: Typically I'll go for the most affordable option and keep it a 1 iteration per character. Money aside, space is also an issue for me. Also, if Jada were to pick another IP to make figures for, I'd love for them to make Fatal Fury/KOF figures.

QotD answer: Love me some Street Fighter figures and have SHF and Jada Toys. I display both and they scaled well enough to mix and match in the same display. Storm Collectible figures are a bit too large imo and I would display them separately if I had any.

Figure of the year contender? As for your question of the day- it all depends on the character. Some characters I may get different versions, but I mostly try to get the best representative version on most of my figures.

For the Question of the Day, I don't mix lines with each other considering I mainly collect ToyBiz Spider-Man figures. But my main shelf has 6 Spider-Man figures all next to each other. And about 6 Venoms scattered about. I'm not the kind of collector who feels the need to "replace" a character when I get a newer one, even if it objectively better than the previous one. Same with my SHF Sailor Moon, I've got at least 2 versions of each character on display.

Jada's SF line and NECA's D&D line are my two happy places these days. As for the question of the day, I'm kinda-sorta mixed; I've picked and chosen characters from multiple SF lines over the years, and still have all of them. I'm committed to the Jada line as a whole though. So good! Waiting for one thing to arrive at BBTS so I can ship my PoL and get my Chun-Li, cannot wait! Excellent review as always, and it's delightful to see how happy this figure/line is making you. Kudos! 👍

Good Jada review, I got a articulation question, how do you prefer for your thigh swivel to be done? Do you like the straight cut, rotation at the ball, or straight thigh connection (I trying to refer to how S.H figures does it or Neca predators where when you turn the thigh there’s a smooth piece behind it so there would be no gaps) Keep on reviewing.

It's best to do it in the hip. They can have good range and still look good. A plain cut has more range but unless it's hidden by the character design it'll look bad

Hi Anthony, great review! For the question, well I dont have many figures anyway but in the case of mixing different lines for the same IP I don't have an issue. For displaying multiple figures of the same character, eh sure why not. It's not something I'd go for as my first option but if it looks cool sure. I collect transformers so I'm used to displaying multiple and different versions of the same characters I guess.

One thing I’m surprised you didn’t mention is that her hair colour is black; vs being brown both in-game and in her character-select art on the packaging. It doesn’t bother me, I’m just surprised it wasn’t mentioned since you brought it up for Ryu’s aesthetics

Question of the day: I have some characters from 2 different lines and I like to display them in rotation, one at the time. I life variety of different manufacturers but if I have a chance I try to get just one of the best options possible (which means as much articulation as possible in most cases for me).

I was going to get the new SH Figuarts Chun-Li Outfit Ver. 2 on BBTS but it was a little out of my price range , I will surely get it later this month when I save a little bit more cash. When I saw Jada Toys had a Chun-li figure of their own I was a little skeptical but I decided to give them a try. This review has eased up my concerns on the quality and how well it can be posed. Depending on the IP and the quality of the “budget” friendly options, I’ll either stick to one company’s interpretation or collect multiple. For street fight having just the Jada figures does it for me.

Definitely going to display with my SOTA. It will be tough to sell me on a new Sagat as absolutely perfect as the SOTA toys one was. My SOTA E. Honada, Dhalism, and Zagief have all BROKE. I have Zangief's feet glued static cause they snapped in the damn package. I love his sculpt though.

The only thing I would have done different would be to make her hair dark brown instead of pure black, and I'd prefer her tights to be more of a medium chocolate brown rather than that saturated red/orange.

Ok im late to the game. Watched this review and decided to take the plunge. Daaaang! Jada knocked it out of the park! This is a fantastic figure. Lots if articulation, sturdy, and some cool accessories. For 25.00! Im definitely getting Cammy.
