Weird, I've seen about 5 other people review this, and their hammers all have that same marking/indentation. It seems to be a mold defect.

I find the masked head from the ten year anniversary Cap looks more like Chris Evans just the way the eyes and mouth are painted. I think it's the same sculpt but it was painted better on the last release but this figure has a much better body on it so I just took the head from ten year anniversary Cap and put it on this body and now I've got a perfect Cap.

I think the weird plastic on the hammer is just a lazy mistake on Hasbro’s part, I believe this hammer will be the same hammer that will come with the Hela and Executioner two pack, and the original mold for this hammer has a peg so that the Hela figure can hold it as seen in the Thor Ragnarok film.

The shield is not supposed to be broken. If you go back to the movie you’ll see that he was using the shield and hammer together and the shield wasn’t broken until after Thanos knocked the hammer away

Great review been watching for years you got me into figuarts..... this is the best Captain America (Hasbro MCU) I got them all out and the proportions with the wider shoulders and the chest make it a step above the 2-pack.....and on the paint I found 4 and only one was decently painted...agree on the shield.

Yeah that little defect on the hammer is on pretty much every release so far, but if you slap some silver paint on it then it doesn't look as bad Also the shield my Cap has is red so yeah

@@ryguy2482 they also work on these things in factories and mistakes happen, I know we'd all prefer a perfect Mjolnir but that's not what we always get. If you just set your expectations low, you'll never really be disappointed

The helmeted head is a reused sculpt of 'The Last Ten Years' 2-Pack Cap. I think that both of the heads from the 2-Pack cap look better than the one in this one, actually. I like the darker colored chinstrap on the helmeted 2-Pack cap, and the likeness to Chris Evans is much better overall on the 2-Pack unhelmeted head in my opinion. 'The Last Ten Years' 2-Pack Cap also takes the cake as my personal definitive Chris Evans Captain America figure from Marvel Legends. As much as I like the scales on this one, I think that the other one just looks more like Cap overall to me, I like the slightly darker color palette of the Civil War suit more, and it doesn't have the bicep and shoulder-pad issues that this one does.

I think they didn't want to include the broken shield to not spoil the movie in case images leaked to early. even in the package the hammer is behind the shield. But they still could've put the hammer first, then the broken shield on top, then the full shield on top of the broken one on top of the hammer. Problem solved! All the spoilers are hidden and everyone's happy.
