The bottom of the Cape is accurate. Batmans cape was really tattered In the movie. Good Review.

This gentleman is absolutely correct! I love people who pay attention to detail. The whole damn suit is beat-up, too - with armor parts showing through. This Batman has been through a lot - this ain't your purple-nippley Batman!

it's not tattered though. that's what im worried about. it just has an odd unfinished quality to it. could be problematic in a year or so if it gets handled much.

this figure looks awful. Im a big neca fan but IMO this is gross. So far the best figure I've seen is the giant jack pacific one. Not much articulation, pretty much like a statue, but the sculpting is insane, I customized it in the same way cosplay chris (check his channel if you don't know him) did and the result are insane.

Not impressed with this new batman figure at all unfortunately. The arkham knight neca 1/4 blows this one away i think from looks anyway. hot toys b vs s batman armoured has me excited tho and hopefully the hot toys batman normal suit ben excites to? He did a awesome job in this new movie as batman exceptional effort well done

I have 3 Batman 1/4 scale figures from NECA (Batman Begins, Arkham Origins, and Arkham Knight). But I definitely skipped this one for that unbelievably ugly mug. WTH, NECA?

I personally dont like such large figures. 1/6 is already big. The problem with such size is that you cant display it in alot of poses without support. I guess my favourite scale is 1/12, providing they have good details (something like figuarts or mafex or comicave omni class for example)

Really wanted to like the figure, but it's a pass for me, the head sculpt is terrible and the batsuit looks like a crappy Halloween costume, will probably just pick up the mezco Batman instead.

Love your reviews but unfortunately this figure is a pass. I saw it in person at my lcs, not impressed. The only 1/4 Neca figure I own is the Arkham Knight Batman which is great. Did you see the pics of the 1/4 Batman Returns Catwoman, wondering about your thoughts on it, 2nd head sculpt looks dope.

Yeah. The Arkham Knight Batman, IMO, is the best quarter scale figure they made, but he loses to the Batman Begins Batman. But that head sculpt on the B v S figure is just horrendous to look at from all angles.

I just bought this figure and i actually really like it...it looks alot better in person and it looks better than the play arts in my oppinion.People should give this figure a try before degrading it. I regret every bad thing i said before about it

Same here. Pics had me really disappointed, and decided to pass. Which sucked because I have all the others. Saw it in person and was shocked. Rung it up and took him home. Something about this doesn't translate to pics/videos.

why do people equate prices as to how well its articulated? these things afrer the molds are done are cheap as hell to make. price is set by people being willing to pay a ridiculous prixe to say folks at sideshow or hot toys. those too are cheap to make. the popularity of the character sets the price. Alot of companies rip us off. NECA makes these as cheap as everybody else. They only charge cheaper to get a foothold on the market. once peeps start buying em up the price will rise.

bigger doesnt neccessarily mean better. it is crossed eye. its face just looks so off. i would still go for playarts compared to this one. the only good 1/4 figure that ppl should even just gaze upon is only the arkham knight batman. this one is fugly. imo

I think this is a very cool figure. I just ordered one. I would like to have seen more muscle definition in the sculpt which I don't think would have added to the cost of making this figure. I also think the grey should be much darker. I think I'll be customizing mine when I get it. Other than that, I'm happy for what I'm getting for $99 bucks for such a large figure.

Yeah only 6" figures (around that, not smaller but up to 7-8" is ok but not bigger than that, i collect marvel legends mostly and then i have som video game figures (like Kratos God of war III Neca) and i want it to look good with them on the shelf. Liked the Mafex stuff but will check Neca out to because i really like Neca's price vs what u get. Thanx ShadowGuardian! :)

Thorough review like always. I do like Neca's 1/4 scale figures and it is good to see Neca is making more of them. The problem with that size is there is no stand available to allow for really dynamic poses; but they do have great presence. @AnthonyCustoms, do you plan on getting and reviewing the Arkham Knight Harley?

$40-$60? Depends what you're into. I'd recommend looking through the older SH Figuarts/Figma lines (if you don't mind paying a little extra for shipping costs)- SH has a lot more variety in what they do, while Figma MAINLY cater to anime/manga series and franchises.
