Right there with you man, for me the only Anthrax (save for a small handful of songs) is Bush era Anthrax (hehe, sounds funny given our ex-presidents who shared the same last name :P) and Sound of White Noise is one of my favorite albums of all time (and I count Poison My Eyes as a sort of 'hidden'/'bonus' or '12th' track for that album even though it was from the Last Action Hero soundtrack due to the similar sound and the fact that it was recorded at the same studio during the same sessions as the main album if I recall correctly), and while I wasn't quite as enthusiastic about Stomp 442 as a whole, it does include some of my favorite Anthrax songs of all time (Nothing and Bare in particular for me) and I at least like every song on the album; I just don't love every song as I did the whole of Sound of White Noise. We've Come for You All and The Threat Is Real were decent as well and definitely had some standout tracks for me and I'm certain that if he'd have continued with the band, I would have more Anthrax albums on my shelf without a doubt.

I was an Anthrax fan since 1988 and I was not disappointed with "The Sound of White Noise" to say the very least! It's so relatable to me as a dude-- assuming that "Potter's Field" is about a mother or maybe an older EX-sister-- to the extreme of the person being a psycho killer. It's obvious that John is not that way and neither am I. But that is poetry / awesome lyrics that describe exactly how I felt when my so-called females of my family of origin came at me with knives in my middle age (after my mom doing the occasional bad number on me as a kid growing up.. "you're not allowed to grow your hair out!" etc.) Your lyrics have really helped me get through tough times the last few years at the age of 50. Thank you so much, Mr John Bush for expanding the Anthrax experience!

I really got into supporting them, because they were struggling (Vol 8 disappeared because of the label tanking, etc.). Charlie and Scott posted weekly on their old website - direct communication with fans. I felt they were very down to earth. I was really into WCFYA and tried to drum up support with street team materials. They were very positive about it. All the activity afterward seemed like positive momentum. Then, suddenly, the reunion, all the positivity around WCFYA, MoMD, GoTE, gone, new website, no more Alpha Mails or Blast Beats. Soured me on them for years.
