The part at the end of this video with Charlie talking about the importance of physical media needs to be clipped out and posted literally everywhere. In the 70's, 80's and 90's and even the early 00's you could buy music and movies just about anywhere. Today...at least where I live...your options for buying physical media locally are limited to Target and Walmart. Mom and pop music stores are few and far between. There is something to be said for physical media. Holding it, the smell, being able to read the liner notes, and the artwork and photography. As well as the need for buying it in a brick and mortar store, that is part of the experience as well. It is all a key element to being a fan of any band. Something that the newer digital generation just does not understand. And need to be taught the importance of physical media.

The best Anthrax album in over a decade at the time. And maybe the best Anthrax record - period. Great songs, great performances, great production. Artwork, videos, the vibe around the band - the best in years. And they kicked fucken ass live! I saw them twice in Europe on this tour in 2003...amazing. Was then absolutely gutted when John and the band parted ways... Apologies in advance for the negativity, but imho they f*cked it up in a bid to go one better, as they saw it at the time. For me this era is still their peak, and I wonder what might have happened if they kept on track on this amazing journey instead of making that "business decision"... What a great episode that was. Totally agree with Charlie regarding owning a physical copy of the music. Seeing him the last few episodes now holding a vinyl version up of 'Volume 8' and 'We've Come For You All' has made me so jealous. Got them both on CD but they look so much better on vinyl. Maybe it's time I went back to buying that format again. Seen them twice around this album. It had been a while, the last time before that was on the 'White Noise' tour. 1st time was supporting Motorhead at Newport Centre when they had only just written 'Superhero' and then a few months later they played an intimate show at Cardiff University to support the album. Was lucky enough to meet Rob Caggiano on both occasions. Sam Warburton the ex Wales rugby captain used to play 'Refuse To Be Denied' in the dressing room before the players took to the pitch to get themselves pumped for the game. My top 3 on this album are:- 1 - Safe Home 2 - Refuse To Be Denied 3 - Cadillac Rock Box
