The leaves will definitely get longer. I've had mine just shy of 2yrs. It's newest leaf is 52 inches! It's my favorite plant! 😍

I just got a wendlingeri (found your video through looking for info) and I am reading and watching every strap anthurium video I can find. No one seems to have done any informational videos on it. I bought it on a whim because it was a wishlist plant and I really hope I don't kill it. The roots look so delicate! Mine is a two leaf chonk in moss and I have to confess, being pretty new to anthurium I'm probably way more anxious. If you have any tips I'd love to hear them. Not totally sure how much I should let this baby dry out mostly. Everything I've read says they like high humidity and frequent watering.

What a gorgeous specimen! I'm looking for a pendant Anthurium species that I can keep in my home. Was considering the vittarifolium, but it seems like it needs quite high humidity, so maybe the pallidiflorum would be a better choice. However it seems like the latter is harder to come by than the vittarifolium. What's the humidity situation in your conservatory?

It gets medium light for most of the day from the ceiling of the conservatory which is glass.
