We must rise both in prayer and demo. We can't have such a useless president turn our nation upside down. Whiles the only thing left of us as a nation is the heritage and culture of our forefathers. Why will we allow that to be sold out by Nana Addo in exchange of a $3.8 billion. Nana Addo must know that Ghana is not a family property to be sold out like that. We will become slaves to other Nations including our own African brothers who will be developing their countries independently. Celestial (The master's voice) said something that I wish people will listen to, he said African Nations who will refuse to be oppressed by the Americans into accepting certain agendas will rise up independently and become a third world country but leaders who will sell their country to these people will go down with them. Babylon (America) will fall along with them and they'll suffer greatly. The manifestations of each of her prophecies have come to pass consistently as a record. I also remember Prophet Owusu Bempah said the same in his 1st January 2024 prophecies, he saw a frog and the frog has a connection with a woman (This must be Kamala Harris) and the woman will give people an offer to put their hand in the frogs mouth and she will give them a lot of money. He said it is a sign of doom. You can go and check out the prophecy. Also, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also prophecy about seeing the Western world invading in African countries and imposing certain agenda's on them. He even gave strong warnings from the Lord. It was a 9 days program. Some have manifested including the climate change agenda, he was exposing their occultic agendas. You can check that also out. We mustn't sit for a failed president to finally sell out our Nation which includes religion, culture, Norms, Moral values, Family values and our rich cultural heritage and our innocent children, let children be children please! This act will affect the mental health of our children because it will be taught in schools. Demo is welcomed.

Some people claim it's not an open problem meanwhile some 3 years ago, the openly established and inaugurated an LGBTQ advocacy office here in Accra, which moved Sam George and co to write this bill. Not just that, the subtle idea of LGBTQ+ was captured and almost included in our educational syllabus to be taught to Ghanaian school children if it wasn't found out just on time. They are not quiet and slow at all. I have attended a university workshop in Cape Coast funded by German Government where they were educating us (instructors) to accept this thing. They told us not to say hello "ladies and gentlemen" when we go to class but rather "hello everyone" to include gays, lesbians, transgender people in order not to offend them. They are already in the system and have so much power and influence, and their target is the children and the youth. They are trying to shift our focus to just human rights thing, but their agenda is far bigger than that - And it's not a blessed one.

Was the office unconstitutional?
@forhisglorychannel8 ай бұрын
@@kojoyamoah414 I was responding to the question "if whether or not LGBTQ+ activities are done openly in Ghana or not." I perceive you want to be part of the conversation by asking your question. About the constitutionality of the office being built, section 104 of Act 29 states that a person who has "unnatural carnal knowledge" with another person of 16 years or more with or without their consent has committed a first degree felony (without consent) or a misdemeanor (if with consent). The act explains "unnatural carnal knowledge" as sexual intercourse with a person in an unnatural manner or, with an animal. By this act therefore, it is illegal to form an association, advocacy or to build an office in the name of something, which the constitution of the country deems as illegal. Hope you understand, sir.
@kojoyamoah4148 ай бұрын
@@forhisglorychannel Your thought process is making assumptions projecting intent unto Unnatural Carnal knowledge is not tied to homosexuality. Anal or oral sex is done by homosexuals and heterosexuals alike.
@kojoyamoah4148 ай бұрын
@@forhisglorychannel the civil nature of your debating style cannot shroud the fact that you have displayed great levels of ignorance in your above comment. For starters, unnatural carnal knowledge is not tied to homosexuality or sexual orientation. So you cannot make the assertion that simply because LGBT persons are opening up a centre is to defy a law. That is an assumption that you've made that you cannot backup. Secondly the purpose of the LGBT centre was to rehabilitate and cater for LGBT persons who had been ostrisized, banished, had bounties on their head or were running from abuse and threats. It was built from the ground up. A truly grassroots adventure. Lastly, how do you think bad laws get repealed or changed? Do you think the status quo simply develops a change of heart or a conscience? That is the power of advocacy and freedom of association. The constitution guarantees full protection for citizens who want to protest against laws that that they seem retrogressive, unfair or unjust.
@forhisglorychannel8 ай бұрын
@@kojoyamoah414 well unfortunately for you, the laws and courts of Ghana interprets unnatural carnal knowledge to include same sex carnal knowledge. Until it's changed that is the law of the land and must be respected as such by any foreigner or citizen. Whether it was a rehabilitation center or an advocacy centre, the actual issue is whether WHAT the centre stands for is legal or not per the laws and customs of the country. And in Ghana even as at 2021 it remained illegal, no wonder the centre was closed down. Well, you may describe the law as bad or good depending on your perception - perception about whether homosexuality is right or wrong. And your viewpoint will definitely influence your judgement. Same as mine. But understand that laws are meant to reflect the values, beliefs and customs of a society, not certain individuals. And as at now, both the custodian of our acceptable norms, practices and values (the national house of chiefs) and the majority of Ghanaians (from CDD surveys) say a vehement NO to it. Kojo, it doesn't mean you can't do what you do in your room. You are responsible for whatever you do with your body, whether good or bad, and you'll definitely reap it. But, what it means is that you can't import what you do in your secret to the public domain to influence societal values or to redefine the moral fabric and culture of the entire nation. I don't think you want us to debate about whether homosexuality is great or not for humanity and for country or whether it's biologically determined or a choice-based preference. But as we do as Ghanaians let's continue to respect the law and if the bill becomes a law, the courts are there to redress all issues. Interesting times ahead though.

What is really wrong with this man? Have we forgotten our problems to put this topic at the forefront of Ghana's agenda. Why all this culture war when we have serious economic wars to fight? As much as we may not like, foreign aid (not loans) is extremely important to bring food and medicine to many Ghanaians. Is Sam George and all his like going to sacrifice their salaries and exgratia and all the perks they receive as MP to help the needy when foreign aid is cut? Having failed in their duty to develop Ghana, politicians are now resulting to culture wars which they think will spark strong emotions from the heavily impoverished Ghanaians and free them from the task of having to account for their poor stewardship of the country.
@zerosumgame37228 ай бұрын
Please don’t let this arrogant Sam George mislead you. No foreign government can force LGBTQ on Ghana. Ghana’s culture would never allow that. Ghana simply has to say Ghana supports human rights in support of the UN charter. It doesn’t mean Ghana is promoting LGBTQ. Ghana doesn’t have a gay problem. Ghanaians are struggling financially and economically and so passing an unnecessary gay bill when you don’t have people openly practicing gay activities is unproductive. Ghana would be exposed to so many international institutions and banks ire for passing a law for a problem you don’t have.
