His Earthbound Oracle can be seen/purchased here: www.etsy.com/listing/239882361/the-earthbound-oracle-deck The Illuminated Earth Oracle Card Deck (shown at 8:16) is, again, created by Claire Mack. Annnnd (exciting!) Thanks for your kind words about Forest of Enchantment Tarot, Lisa! As always, I so appreciate your support. Re: who gets what credit, I'm the author (came up with the idea for the deck and each card) and I wrote the accompanying book. Meraylah Allwood is the incredible artist I was blessed to work with. I always have to add that Meraylah is a miniaturist, and the paintings themselves are not that much bigger than the printed cards! The detail is amazing.

I really enjoy this series! I'm skipping SO many new decks. So many of the new decks coming out seem to lack any knowledge of tarot, lack symbolism, don't follow any kind of historical systems....I just feel they are people creating 78 art pieces, then attaching tarot names to them and selling them as decks. I'm hunting more and more for vintage decks and buying less and less new decks. I hope you don't regret not backing Keymaster and the Pavlov decks. I am not one for oracle decks but I will say the liminal spirit oracle deck is just amazing. It is a great deck if you love to study decks and dive into their guide book. The way Laura writes is just as beautiful as her art. It is just astounding. I feel like this deck kind of justifies not having keywords so that you get lost in the liminal feel of the art rather than just being immediately drawn to the key word . It is also a great deck to just meditate over because it is just so calming and really draws you into that liminal space within yourself. I would highly recommend if any of that appeals to you.

OMG I agree with you on the keywords. There are 2 oracle decks that work for me without keywords because I happen to have a lot of esoteric knowledge about the subjects of the cards and that is; the pathfinder and the nocturna. I came *this close* to backing Pavlov but didn't either -- I still really like it, and a tiny part of me regrets it. I did, however, back Tarotbot. I almost didn't because it's a really straightforward Smith-Waite style deck which is a style I've been less into reading lately, plus depth year... but... in the end, I'm definitely not a "low key" sci fi fan (I'm more like 'diehard Trekkie seeking convention dress-up opportunities'), and it was bound to happen and I'm glad I did. ❤️😊 Thanks for sharing. They have such a similar feel but honestly I also found I had a weirdly hard time even SEEING the Dark Days artwork....the cards are smaller than I expected and the sketchy feel of the art makes it hard for my blind eyes to figure out what’s going on. 🤓 Nice to see the Textured Tarot....love that deck soooo much....and the Hayworth Tarot is also a hard no for me!! 🙈 Such a fun video. 😊💖

I LOVE the Stolen Child Tarot, I'm so happy you supported it. I find the imagery to be disturbing in a beautiful way, like it really reaches this deep part of my brain thats ancestral and animalistic and innocent, its very profound. I feel a similar way about the Hayworth Deck as well as the Tarot of the Secret Forest, both of them disturb me but in a way that I'm just comfortable enough with to be able to examine those feelings. Its a bit like exposure therapy, which makes them great decks for shadow work. Your commentary about the Pathfinder Oracle and the Liminal Spirits Oracle was super interesting! I almost only read cards intuitively so I never thought about the importance of keywords, its neat seeing someones else's perspective on it :) I actually bought the Liminal Spirits Oracle to use in tandem with the Pathfinder Oracle so they must fit together haha I TOTALLY agree with your comments on the Sacred Self Care Oracle, I've wanted that deck for the theme and colorful nature but have sat on the fence about buying it because I HATE the womb card. I'm an ftm trans man and it just reminds me of women who often gatekeep the witchcraft/metaphysical community from men and trans people and...yeah. But thankfully theres all kinds of decks out there so hopefully I'll find something that'll work :)

@juni63814 жыл бұрын
Illuminated Earth Oracle: I love it! I've been lusting for it since I discovered it but kept off due to international shipping. I jumped at the opportunity to get it now that Claire Mack has a Kickstarter running for her new oracle, The Faceted Garden Oracle... same art style and everything. I'm SO, SO excited. 🌺❤️ . Textured Tarot: I have this deck and love the imagery as well - my one concern is that the cards are so stiff it's impossible to riffle shuffle as it hurts. As a riffle shuffler this really bothers me. 😔 . Liminal Spirits: I hate when a deck has titles that tell me what I can already see with my eyes - give me keywords! It's pointless to me to be informed of what I'm seeing - I want to get an idea of what the intention behind the card is. The artwork is gorgeous though. Hero's Journey is beautiful as well. . Hayworth Tarot/Zombie Tarot: I could never work with decks like that. It's just too weird for me. . Heaven & Earth Tarot looks STUNNING! Pagan Otherworlds is on my TB-list. True Heart Tarot and Starseeker Tarot are both soooo pretty. I really want the latter one for sure. Fyodor Pavlov Tarot is a deck I'm really happy I backed - it's one of the most beautiful I've seen, and I kind of like that it's mature lol. I was close to backing Keymaster Tarot but didn't... sort of regret it now - and yes SEK = Svenska kronor (Swedish Krona). . I'd also really, really like to obtain a copy of the Forest of Enchantment Tarot and Star Tarot 2nd Ed. (SO PRETTY!). 😍

I'd say I'm already on it! Here's a link to the playlist (new ones coming out every Thursday as I had to break this up into-quite a few-chunks): kzbin.info/aero/PLFC8KKRzx6ZLfoVLEOwTPvoVz0Wna_C-i

Nooo to the Hayworth Tarot! I’m with you on this one Lisa! Too disturbing for me!

Also I’m so excited for the star seeker! 😁 I pre-ordered this for September I think? I know I love her even though we haven’t even met yet! 😍

I actually love the images from True Heart Intuitive Tarot - but the book is very meh. It is more like a autobiography of her time in Hollywood , using experiences that are very unrelatable. The card stock is thin/flimsy but the images themselves are great. Admittedly if I hadn't read the book I would have liked them more. Kudos the to actual artist of this deck, Stephanie Singleton (I don't see her name mentioned enough and as the artist she def deserves more recognition

I remember you once said you Loved Soul Card’s 1 and 2 ( so I bought) but didn’t like ...I didn’t like they didn’t have keywords so I just can’t work with them...I guess my intuition doesn’t work with them do you still use and love these decks??

Oh yes!!! But I only use them for a very particular type of reading and I bonded with them many years ago. They're perfect for purely intuitive deep soul work and past life readings (for me). I'm sure they are not for everyone, though, and I totally get how they might be a challenge to connect with!

Isn't it interesting how not alllll card systems make you want to do the work of memorising....
