I was avoiding buying a crap ton of make up this year. And pretty much I did that well. I only bought Huda MR palette, replaced my infected so jaded palette (I accidentally used it while I had pink eye. Didnt know I had an eye infection so when I kept on using that palette it irritated my eye so much I realized why it was that was. Bought a new one its great) a week ago I broke that no buy ban kind of. I bought two Lunar Beauty pallets the strawberry dream palette and the lunar eclipse palette. Other than that. I think I did a really good job at avoiding palettes this year

Me: instantly goes on Etsy & looks for Starry Night product mentioned. I bought the Musée Beauty Starry Night palette instead of this one along with their Impressionism palette during their BF sale. I can't wait to get them!!! I don't want to use the word, "obsessed," to describe my affection for that classic piece of art (because let's face it - far too many influencers are using it so it's been driving my batty) but I've been totally in love with it since I was 10 years old. The longer vault would've been the only thing from CP that I would've purchased but even at that, I didn't since so many of the colors would have been repeats. I'm waiting for the At Forest Sight liner set to restock to purchase.

To anyone wanting to buy the rainbow colourpop giant palette, the palette tends to lean more cool toned. It doesn’t have all the colours of the rainbow. I have the monochrome palettes and I won’t be purchasing the giant one because any colour on the spectrum can pull more red or blue, light or dark, vibrant or pale. There are so many colours that the monochrome’s don’t have but also do have

I use a mini size of got2b Spiked gel. I don’t have sensitive skin and it’s never irritated me or or given me pimples so be wary of that if it’s something you’re concerned about. I use a little bit on my finger to get it on my brows and once it’s tacky i brush out with a spoolie.

As someone who watched the Hello Kitty show growing up, I was so disappointed in the palette. I'd previously been so excited, but I thought it would at least include the bright red and maybe the bright blue of her outfit. I was expecting something colorful and fun, and they just gave me dull pinks. I didn't feel like it represented Hello Kitty aesthetically at all.

I can't help but think of the September Rose Slush palette when I see that Colourpop rainbow one, the layout and the shades are super similar.... I know the rainbow isn't a new concept but the shape of the pans, the colours in columns, even the shades themselves seem a bit too similar to me? But that might be because I own the Slush palette and love it so I was taken aback when I saw the Colourpop one
