Why would the Jews at the time of Muhammad ignore everything the Torah said about following different gods and start following Allah. Which is so clearly a different God.

The part about being a different God is false. The Jews didn’t say that either. You’re saying it. As for why they didn’t become Muslim, it’s because of a misplaced sense of ethnic supremacy and not any legitimate reason or even confusion.

Excellent reply! Additionally, it would be interesting to hear you explain how Allah is a different god since Arab Christians and Jews use the name Allah for the God they worship. Not only that, Jesus, upon him be peace, spoke Aramaic, a sister language of Arabic, in which the name for Almighty God is Allah.
