Anti Light Projector Screen - Worth Buying?

My mini home theater got a upgrade from simple white painted wall. Now my projector screen is a lot better image quality and even with lights on or open curtain its now possible to see.

The downside is: you can only effectively see the high contrast display when you're viewing it straight from the center and the projector is set in you're eye level; but not when you're watching it from the side, or the projector's center screen is not in the eye level. When you move your viewing away from the center of the screen, the display goes dark and washed out.

@@paeng46 Hi - this true. You need to watch at front to be able to get a nice view. Its better though with just plain white background.

BogeeBogs I still prefer this dark gray anti light projector over the simple white one. As I said, the only downside this dark gray anti light projector has is when you’re viewing it away from the center or the projector’s center screen is not in your eye level. But if all the two viewing conditions are met, the projector will give you a very satisfying result and performance. The clarity and contrast are never match by the white projector screen.

@@pushze , Hi, Bogeebogs, thanks for your post of this video. We're the original manufacturer of this screen. I'm thinking if the projector can come with 2 other light sources, so in total, there're 3. the centered one, one at left, the other one at right, then, I think whether you're sitting at the center or left or right, you'll always get the best view of the reflection. It's only my guess.

i am wondering the if the gray fabric is somewhat transparent... i am thinking of buying an 60" size to clamp it on over white blinds... while just using the blinds, i am distracted by the gaps between the blind's fins.. so if this gray curtain is somewhat not 100% opaque(non-transparent) i think will still be distracte by the gaps of the blinds....

I bought a similar one from eBay, is that the shinely more reflective side is the front? But I found that because it is reflective it is too bright to watch it in dark. In dark room it even brighten up the back of my room and make it very uncomfortable for my eye.

iron on backside. The one that is rough. You can actually see which ones when holding the screen.

@@pushze Iron the dark side (which is the projector's front display side), not the plastic side. I did the ironing on my mine and was able to remove the lines caused by the package fold. When you do the the flat ironing, kindly consider doing it on the whole sheet (not only the fold lines) as crest in between the fold lines will still remain.
