After the interview they asked if they could get some shots of me acting natural around my car/camp site. That’s not real. That’s acting. Potentially but also potentially not.. The difference between the NZ convoy & the Canadian one is that the NZ convoy didnt shut down traffic on the bridge that carries 28% of all commercial traffic between US & Canada, which impacted US Automakers, affecting operations & therefore profits.. Hence Biden rang Trudeau to deal with it, & Trudeau over-reacted.. But until that phone call was made, Canadian govt was largely tolerant.. No doubt some authoritarian action will be taken at some point, but not on the level that Canada just took..

Just wondering, after all is done and the protest is successful, who is going to do the cleaning on the grounds? Who is going to tender the lawns that was and is destroyed? Will everyone who pay taxes be the one who will foot the bill on repairing and cleaning? Or will we just let the lawn and surroundings stay as it is as a reminder of this event?

It's probably because the majority of the country disagree with this take.. likely them as well I'm all for sticking up for your rights and freedoms but this isn't where I'd draw the line. The mandates serve a purpose, even if their usefulness is greatly diminished by the introduction on the Omicron variant. It also should be done appropriately, in this case with officers now confirmed to have cases this will almost certainly be a super spreader event, increasing the spread of the virus even more. Business in the area who have already suffered with less foot traffic due to covid have also seen further decline in foot traffic from this. And all of this for something that's a temporary thing anyway..

They're not actually 'taking' anything but are being tolerated. They only had one thing to say, and it's said. There have been dozens of protests in NZ going back at least over 70 years. The Waterfront Workers strike went down in New Zealand's history as did the Land marches, and the struggle for Womens rights, also a significant part of the NZ story. This anti-mandate / whatever camp is a non-event because there wasn't much to say in the first place. Yes, we'd all prefer it if the health restrictions caused by this pandemic could end. Blocking wellington streets, and harassing people living and working there, is never going to achieve that. The major problem with this 'protest' is, it was imported by USA anti-democratic extremists and all Kiwis know that. There's nothing genuine about it.

Guess not. They've already been told they have dangerous sex offenders amongst them on home detention and they still have their kids there! Forget financially supporting their kids, these so called parents sleep the night away knowing their kids are at risk. Worse still, these are not legit protesters, they are spitting on and screaming at children walking to school, little primary aged kids, to the point where the schools shut down! Nobody even knows what these protesters are on about. Sex offenders, white supremacists, violence, drunks and a covid outbreak? They don't need a job, they are actually collecting benefits from the same government they are threatening to hang.
