Just remember traps with gy effect still can work as it's not an "activated" effect. So if there is a dino still on the field you might want to keep the fortress up if they have survival's end in gy.

Actually he could acitvate karma cut. Trap cards like mirror force cannot be activeted when reactor dragon attacks, because it (mirror force) has an effect "when your opponent's monster attacks", but karma cut's effect can be activated at anytime and there is a space beetwen a monster is special summoned and beetwen it attacks, so karma cut can be activated that time. The game says (if I know correctly) an opponent's monster declares an attack. Activet card effects? And actually when you activate that moment karma cut it'll be activated BEFORE the attack, just you know, you can only activate traps and guick effects at the opponent's turn when a monster summoned (not in this case, it's just the rule), when a monster declares an attack (and sometimes as achain link (2 or more) or when your opponent changes his/her phase, so the game only asks you this time tó activate karma cut when your opponent declares an attack on you with reactor dragon (or with an other monster with similar effect).

You can't. There's nothing to chain to between the time Reactor is summoned and the time it declares an attack. Even with toggle on, you can't.

I couldn't find it what toggle means (I'm not english), if it means "when it (the monster) summoned", yes, you can't because the monster is summoned at the damage step, but I'm not sure about this either, but a monster isn't summoned and attacks at the same time, first it's summoned then it attacks, AND there is a time before you declare an attack. If a single monster attacks, karma cut can be activated during the attack, so first the game says "an opponent's monster declares an attack, activate a card effect?", then if you not activate, the game will ask it again: " it's thge damage step, activate a card efect?", and only this is what reactor dragon blocks, because this effect activates when it attacks, and as I said, you can't activate trap cards randomly so the game won't ask "now this is the time when reactor dragon's summon is finished, activate a card effect?", but when it asks "the monster declares an attack..", that substitues it. And there is no time? So if you special summon a monster you can't chose to attack ( in the damage step, but actually it is after the damage step because your opponent's lp already have got down) it must attack athe that moment and you can't choose to take a rest, get a coffe or something and attack with that monster about a minute after (than it summoned) or not to attack at all :)?

Utopia Ray in the extra deck. But realistically, you probably won’t get a chance to. Ancient Gears can steal some wins but they are far from decent. Even in the most heavy backrow meta(Shiranui) it couldn’t do anything eventhough it is known as the antibackrow deck.

It is- it can unbrick your hand by sending a Reactor Dragon to the grave (to be summoned later by fortress/geartown/gear reborn if you’re running it, and it gives you an out to things RD can’t beat like Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon.

The version I’m running is nowhere near as consistent as this one because I’ve taken out the pathfinders, double cyclones and Breaker (which I don’t have) to add stuff like 2 Machina fortresses, 2 TTHs, a gear reborn and hand traps. I was also running a single golem and poly on the off chance I could fuse Ultimate AGG. It’s not optimal but I’ve gotten just enough use out of it to make me not want to get rid of it lol.

@@kataphrut7740 This ultimate fusion thing is a problem I had with cyberdark. I would run one copy each of claw and the fusion card in a cyberdark deck that was focused on egdes direct attack. I couldnt get rid of it for a long time because I thought it was important to get the chance of summoning a 6000 ATK Cyberdark Dragon after 3-5 turns. But ultimately the duel was over most of the times before that happened and I had many bricks. So to give some deck building advice: Focus on what you really need for the deck to work properly. For example you should totally swap your handtraps for something else if they are defensive (veil or Sphere Kuriboh) or if they are too specific. I dont use breaker and pathfinder and have different ratios. For the machina part I use Fortress, Gearframe and one Megaform and also a TTH. And for some reason I didn't even know gear reborn existed although I have some copies of it lol

@@MD-mk3lh You’re not wrong- I’m gonna readjust the deck and ditch those cards. I liked having the option for the fusion but you’re right- it’s not consistent. I still think reborn is a good option especially with Machina Fortress sending your gears to the graveyard. My two handtraps were Sphere Kuriboh and Skull Meister. Kuriboh is as Kuriboh does, but I threw in Skull Meister to disrupt graveyard plays since they’re so damn common atm. I don’t like having him, I just felt like I needed to.

I returned to my old account just to drop back to bronze and stop seeing Thunder dragons. It is literally only thunder dragons in legend. I see noble knights here and there and I dont remember when I saw hero or despacito last. There is blue eyes too, but playing against them is not obnoxious so I am ok with it

I use storm instead of double cyclone because you'll still be able to destroy your cards even if the opponent doesn't have any backrow. Just remember that if you destroy both fortress and geartown you can only use fortress effect you'll miss geartown.
