Surely the 4.5x10 size is twice what you'd expect from the 2.5x10 in terms of longevity and perhaps water flow, but is it truly necessary for the average empty-nesters with a 2.5 bath condo in FL? I ask because we are in the planning stages of either installing two GE filters (one 4.5 and a second 4.5 or a 2.5). The decision depends on the necessity of a 4.5. We do not have a lot of space, so one large and one small unit would have fit best; but we do not want to prioritize fit over efficacy. 🧐
