I think you are on to something, but you need to think bigger, much bigger. Wrap the whole car with the material! Of course not the roof. Make it easy to clean and easy to repair. Create home repair kits. If not the whole car, then the bumpers. Maybe have after-market kits with the materal to cover the edge of car doors, some sort of u-channel shape material, the customer can cut to size. If every car had it, it might eliminate door "dings" worldwide. Bro, patent it ASAP. All you need to do is get one car manufacturer to use it, and the rest will follow.
