Wow, people are do different... I totally agree with the basic thesis of the video and with the four conditions you mention, but none of the non-trends you speak of is for me. Wearing most, I would feel like I were wearing a costume, and one speaks to my fantasy self but, I know for a fact, won't suit me. If you need perscription glasses, vintage sunnies are no safe bet. The optometrists say there is no guarantee they will survive - and horn or plastic ones really do break when the lenses are changed too often for the frame to handle. Not to mention some places might be shady enough to handle with the least amount of care.

My friend was a great collector of vintage glasses including sunnies. She had a wonderful relationship with an optometrist who specializes in this kind of work. They are hard to find, but they are out there. Especially if you find pairs that you love and are made well.

Actually something that might interest you, as a fan of innovation, is the stainless white shirt (yup, and it's not made of any kind of plastic). A friend of mine is doing an internship in a company that creates them, in France, and she said it was really mind-blowing. They used to produce them only for cooks and waiters but now they sell some in partnership with menswear collections 🙂

As a dancer...we don't wear our tutu's or rehearsal skirts anywhere but in actual rehearsals, they're so itchy in real life, and I head to classes in activewear or sweats. My dream is to be that put together off duty...usually im just sore!

Yep, you’re right. Smoking is not worth dying over. My friends and I are now senior citizens and everyone, who continued to smoke has died from some sort of lung or esophageal cancer, emphysema or heart disease and the deaths/treatments were screamingly painful. Plus, it makes one smell like a dirty ashtray, which is not attractive.

My aunt gave me her Burberry trench from the 60s/70s and it is one of my favorite pieces. I dont know how they make their trenches now but it has an amazing removable wool vest that zips into the lining which is amazing.

Tutu skirts are also a super useful layering piece!!! I need to repair mine, though. It was a hand-me-down and the waistband is ripping apart from the skirt :( Definitely a worthwhile piece in my opinion. They look great as a skirt, and they're also useful as a petticoat to add fullness. I love a dual purpose item :)
