Bacteria: What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger. Bacteriophage: Nah, I'd win. 🗿

That's an amazing and simplistic explanation of the action of antibiotics and mainly #antibioticreistance
@amandaallen189811 ай бұрын
Good overall explanation, however please may I suggest an edit. Antibiotics make bacteria unstable not instable. This is the action that kills or severely disrupts bacterial proliferation.

"unstable" might be a better term here, I agree!

It's interesting how you pronounce synthesize perfectly, yet you pronounce synthesis as "thinthethis".

Allah has given nothing at all, I am a native Arabic speaker, was taught everything about Islam in school, forced to read the whole quran and ahadith, everything said about human body in Islam is outright wrong. stop taking credit from people's hard work with bullshit.

I have never taken an antibiotic . I’ve always used superfoods etc to boost my immune system. Im sure I will need antibiotics at some point. It’s important to boost your immune system by eating as natural as possible, exercise and sleep ( not over sleep though unless you r sick. This has kept me from getting sick or if I am sick, it’s not long. I also take a multivitamin every day. My mom was a vitamin believer and always gave us a multivitamin every day. My brothers and parents were pretty healthy . I am blessed and hopefully can help other people with this info. I believe in antibiotics if they r needed. Bacteria infections r no joke.

Great video! 💯 I'm just wondering whether cell wall synthesis disrupting antibiotics work on gram negative bacteria which have another layer of protection outside their cell wall. Also do you know, how do bacteria take up antibiotics that target their protein synthesis? 🤔
@madelineanabella6400 Жыл бұрын
That’s what I’m wondering also. They say by 2050 if there r not advancements 10 million people will die a year from infection because bacteria 🦠 has evolved to get past antibiotics.

If antibiotic does not work against viruses why doctor prescribe it for viral fever
@henrikslab2 жыл бұрын
www.healthline.com/health/viral-fever#treatment This is very likely wrong of the doctor. If at all, viral fever should be treated in severe cases with antivirals (e.g. Tamiflu). Antibiotics should not be prescribed in case there is no bacterial infection.
