@@jamesisapedo6889 He is a teacher of physicians, he is qualified to examine physicians, that is affirm their progress or otherwise. He is a bona fide scientist who creates the knowledge that guides the practice of physicians, he will qualify as a peer reviewer, that is, one of those who confirm the scientific merit of any contribution and allow publication, and thus he has higher status as a well-tried medical expert than average physicians who, on average, do not become academic contributors/professors. After all, he has a doctorate, which means he is an bona fide creator of medical literature that guides practice, whose ability to make a contribution has been rigorously examined by a faculty. Physicians in many countries do not make these contributions, rather their examination and progress is based on testing knowledge that has been "taught" and not based upon creating a novel contribution to the knowledge base (which is what a doctoral level degree signifies, thus many commonwealth country medical degrees are not even called doctorates, and the use of the title is considered a tradition rather than a signifier of level of expertise -- specifically in the UK, when these doctors advance to surgical training, they drop the title entirely, as their tradition has roots not among physicians, but in the barber shop, so this group of physicians goes by Mr. and Ms.). In his country, calling physicians "doctor" is sometimes referred to as a courtesy title, as their degree is explicitly labeled a bachelor's degree (and it's arguably a courtesy title everywhere except in those medical programs where the student does research that they then defend in oral exams). His status and respect will come from his CV and history as an expert contributor to the knowledge base, and any physician who challenges his status will not only be very hard to find, but a bona fide idiot too. His status does not mean he is always right, his status means he is an expert creator and reviewer of data, and he does appear to meet the scientific ideal of someone who is not wedded to their ideas and thus would welcome evidence that contradicts his previous opinions and findings. Further, he doesn't need to repeatedly call himself doctor, which is sometimes motivated by marketing or narcissism or some other concern with promoting one's status, or just a habit ingrained in the culture of medicine, even though he holds the bona fide title. If you are being treated by a resident, or a junior doctor as Dr. Campbell would say, you could hardly hope for better than that resident being trained by this guy, not only for his state of the art knowledge, but for his openness and very convincing appearance of humility. I mean, watch him contribute an opposing perspective, it's a admirable lesson not only in rigor, but in openness and humility. He follows the data as it comes in, and he avoids grand pronouncements of final, unambiguous truths, which is the error of too many public health folk, as they have excessive fears that the public will comply less if they knew how medical guidance was actually made (sort of like knowing how sausage and laws get made I guess). He does not fear ambiguity and he does not fear how people might handle ambiguity, and his channel shows that millions of people respect this without the professional having to perform an air of personal and unambiguous authority. Finally, Dr. Campbell ain't selling nothin', which is most evidenced by the lack of monetization, his books are free, and his videos are without commercials even though they would be very lucrative. So thank you buymypillow guy for provoking me enough to offer this remarkable guy some appreciation after all this time.

@@petero9584 I think that is quite a stretch. Having watched Dr. Campbell for some time now it’s clear he is not an “antivaxer“. I have never heard him say anything about being anti-vaccine. In fact quite the contrary, Dr. Campbell has indicated several times that it is a good thing that people are getting vaccinated. That doesn’t mean that as the situation changes we should not revisit medical policy. I would hope that for everybody the goal is to get to a point where nobody needs any more of this vaccination. I don’t like to take pills unless necessary….does that make me an “anti-piller”? Of course the big pharmaceutical companies would love for the vax regime to go on indefinitely. In my opinion we are getting very good information from this channel.

Do you think a virologist could interpret the very same documents in another way? Gad to hear this. I have been wondering for some time whether asymptomatic infection results in a strong antibody response. I was exposed to Covid-19 four times, that I know of, in November through mid-December. Each time I was unmasked and exposed for at lease six hours. I am 68 yo and unvaccinated. When I told my GP of these exposures, and stated I didn't get Covid, her response was that it is very unlikely that I have not had Covid. My dentist agreed with my GP. I wonder, if I have indeed had asymptomatic Covid-19, is it likely I have high anti-body levels? If I got asymptomatic Delta, does it even matter what my antibody level is?

@@deletebilderberg The dates mentioned would indicate a high probability that they had the strains mentioned. Not all cold are caused by Coronavirus, and the speculation is that only one of over a dozen strains of Coronavirus caused common cold conveys any immunity to Covid-19. Additionally, this would be B-cell and T-cell immunity, which is not tested for with common tests. If I had Delta, and it was asymptomatic, it is probably a combination of a innately strong immune system, and maintaining my blood serum D level at 75ng/ml.

Less "hip" than "WTF?", but a wise synonym for content survival whilst the message gets through. Even if I disagree with any of the "conclusions" you come to (although I'm hard-pressed to recall a case), which is rare for you, the missing data is also a large part of my personal frustration. Dr. Been spoke of the proposed record-keeping which was asserted to be done by CDC and/or FDA as part of EUA, but they failed to keep the data. Why/how could they fail to keep the information? Quite the oversight. "It's almost as if....". Truth is obvious, proof being attemptedly kept (hey, that's not science)...when the loaded gun is "found" within the created maze, people will be very reasonably angry. If true, then that would be a major worry (given its extremely high transmissibility), and would start to feed through in increased hospitalisation rates pretty shortly, so it's something to watch out for in the data in the next few weeks.

So here's a glimpse from a small place in Nova Scotia, Canada. My son and I were sitting in a small restaurant yesterday. The waitress went to the table next to us. She said to the customers: " oh hi, how are you .... how have you been through the pandemic". The customers said: "oh, fine, we have been careful". Waitress responds: " covid has never been so bad as it is now". In addition, the majority of the customers wore masks from the door to the table (no longer required), removing them when seated. I try to make sense of this in a positive way but I just can't.

If you're concerned about your health, why going out to a restaurant. Better stay at home. If you feel unwell and wouldn't like to infect anyone, then why would you go to a restaurant. Better stay at home. What's then the point of wearing a face mask from the door to the table? I can't explain it logically, except that it's sole purpose is virtue signaling or some other moral superiority thing.

Simon N I think most of science is on board with being honest and open but the way the authorities have twisted the data and used it for their own agenda is disturbing. Mr Campell has always come across as being honest IMO and has shared information that would be hard to find for most people otherwise. Rational discussions are always a good thing.

@@SMHman666 I'm not sure on your background. But I have 11 years of experience in academic science and a couple in biotech industry. I just got laid off from one of the largest biotech companies in the US because I declined getting vaccinated after I had COVID. I was more immune to COVID than the vast majority of employees who had J&J or were vaccinated a year ago without any booster. From my experience and interactions most of the 'scientific' community is not acknowledging the well documented, proven fact of natural immunity.

@@christopherrobinson7541 The antibody levels will fall over time as the acute infection is dealt with otherwise the blood would soon become a viscous syrup of various antibodies to all sorts of infections. Their absence does not mean lack of immunity or lack of evidence of previous exposure as they may have been cleared as the infection has resolved. The only marker for immunity is presence of antibodies which would certainly indicate memory T cells ( unless my immunology books are incorrect) or if antibodies could not be detected, look for the memory T cells. If they are present, you have immunity. Happy to be corrected or added to.
