This tune was written by Roland Prince, he was an Antiguan jazz guitarist. "Anti-calypso" was featured on New Agenda, a jazz album by drummer Elvin Jones recorded in 1975 and released on the Vanguard label.

Antigua is an island in the Caribbean Sea, in the Lesser Antilles group. It is one of the islands on which the state of Antigua and Barbuda is located.

Elvin Ray Jones is an American jazz musician, best known as the drummer in the John Coltrane Quartet. Ranked #23 on Rolling Stone's 2016 list of the 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time.

Perhaps in Japan, this jazz composition became known from the live album "Elvin Jones Jazz Machine Live in Japan" by drummer Elvin Jones, recorded with Coltrane in Japan in 1978 and originally released on the Japanese Trio label.
