What's funny is that's what actually (kinda) happens. Odysseus, in the Odyssey, is disguised as an old man by Athena and meets with Telemachus, and after revealing himself, they plan the downfall of the suitors.

So, if this does happen, (and we know Odysseus is in Ithaca when this song takes place) I imagine that at the very end when they're plotting against Penelope, Telemachus jumps out to try and fight them again and Odysseus has to hold him back, but he has the most terrifying bloodlust in his eyes.

It would have been interesting if they surround a beached ship that just docked at the beach only for it to be Odysseus, finally back home a changed (and heavily traumatized) man. As they attack him, he starts taking pleasure in the fight, ready to break each one of their bones.

i posted this there and i'll do it here, but in that section, when he says, "we'll share her spoils", there is a descending violin/viola thing. this is an instrument almost always associated with penelope, and it kinda sounds like a scream, so my conclusion is that it's penelope's screams as antinous would hear them: music to his ears.

Make it discomfort the person listening, if they do that then they did it correctly so when Odysseus’ song comes it’ll be even more of a good feeling knowing Odysseus is getting Justice for what they were planning.

So pretty much in the musical Antinous IMPLIES in the song that he’s gonna do that to Penelope to get the crown and then kill Telemachus so that Telemachus doesn’t get crowned king since he’s prince. You can see a lot of allusion of that in this, thunder bringer, and there’s even the whole thing with calypso technically that you can count since she’s forcing Odysseus to be with her. It’s kinda something that can’t be avoided mentioning unless you go the whole Disney Hercules route when it comes to Greek mythology.

Like, you went to war so you could prevent his death; spent 20 years trying to go back alive and keep your people alive too; you were breaking and slowly became a monster so you could return home to your wife and son. That's really interesting because for me this official voice has more punch than the other one. Like the way he delivers carries more intention, which just perfectly captures Antinous calculating and twisted nature. It's nice to see how one voice can be interpreted differently by different people.
