Hey! That big green glass bowl is Viking glass! The Hallcraft item is definitely a spoon rest. I would NOT replace those stones on that purse. I would let the buyer replace the stones if they choose to do so. Glad to see you on here. Missed you my friend! Glad you had a great month! 😘

Hey Tam!! Long time no see stranger! Lol I was thinking about ya a couple of days ago too...like where is my "Purse Diva"! ; ) You had an amazing month...way to go! I was reading the comments on your help questions and it looks like you have a lot of leads now. So great for people to help out...kudos to all of y'all! I had a friend of mine that her mom dealt in purses...vintage etc. I'm pretty sure she had one of those box purses too, they are really cool. I wouldn't change a thing on it...if someone is interested in that specific purse then let them decide whether to replace it themselves. Can't wait to see what's next...I will be looking for those purses girl!! LOL Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!! Love and Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!! xoxo : )

Hi Tam! Good to see you on again. I agree the atomic dish is a spoon or ladle rest. The bottle with the flower is some sort of perfume or lotion bottle. About the purse, it's always best not to re-do, it will tale away from the original. Just explain what is missing in the description, then they can decide to either leave it or change it. Also I want to thank you for mentioning about the Victoria Secret perfume. I had forgotten that I bought some a long time ago and never used it so now I can sell it! Great find with the baskets, so glad you did so well. I will keep my eyes open for them! Thanks for sharing, we all learn from each other!

The small dish, looks like a 1950's- mid century spoon rest starburst.

For the floral glasses.. They look like 70s-early 80s.. a few dollars a glass would be good. If they are not stamped with the cursive L mark on the bottom they might be Federal Glass.. I don't think I'd worry about the maker to much either way. Here's that spoon rest.. www.replacements.com/p/hall-harlequin-lugged-soup-bowl/hllhar/16336021 The matching floral bottles are probably oil and vinegar bottles from the late 50s/early 60s..

Here's a tip. Take a picture of the glasses. Then search eBay using the picture searching option. Works wonders for anything. Just go to search, press the camera icon and select the picture you took.

Really the best thing to do is to become an expert in one field then, move on to learn about another field. I specialize in Antique Bisque dolls. I started by reading absolutely everything in the library on the subject, went to shows, eventually joined a doll club. Collector clubs are huge fonts of knowledge and information. Many clubs you can join online if there isn’t one in driving distance. Do you love purses? Start with learning everything you can about purses, then move on to jewelry, etc. There should be one area or time period you specialize in, this helps in learning about other eras and items. You can chase just anything old and hit and miss or specialize in something like Vintage Fashion, Clothing, or Cars and know your customer base, market and make the big money.

I think all those Longaberger baskets sold to someone like your talking about. An expert that has a market for them and only sells that type of item. As long as Tam buys low, in great condition items and knows what sells in her area she will do good. To become an expert in one field when buying items for selling at a booth might be hard to achieve since the person is buying to please the general public. I have only watched a few of Tam's videos and so far I see her percentage profits is very nice and her booth looks great. Most of us learn as we go, but if anyone sees a diamond in the rough speak up to let people like Tam know what it is or that she needs to find out more before letting it sell. Today with all the info from computers it's easier now than ever before for learning about vintage things. In my teen years we sat around the kitchen table with hard back books and listened up when someone was giving good advice. We shared books or someone would bring over something interesting to talk about. If we were lucky an elderly people would be there saying where they bought it and how much it cost and how it works or what it was used for ect. Times change and so do prices and buyers start liking other things, so be diverse in your booth.

Eva Zeisal Harlequin fruit bowl. Green bowl is Viking glass. Floral bottles are for perfume, lotion, bubble bath, or love potions!😏 Research controlled bubble pitcher for the blown green pitcher. Violet tumblers are similar to an Avon pattern. Don't mess with the Enid Collins purse, you can do more harm than good and turn off more buyers than you would satisfy. Good rule of thumb is when in doubt, leave it alone. Most glass companies in the 70's had several avocado green optic designs on tumblers, pricing should be fairly similar across most varieties.

Box purse. Leave as is. I watch antique road show and American pickers. Advice is if you can't find exact items for refurbish, leave as is. Decreases in value when we mock a refurbish. (They practically scream in fright when they find refurbish attempts) - on Antiques Roadshow they always say take it to a professional if you really, really want it to be refurbished correctly. You look fine. 😊 Happy canning!

Paris Romero thank you!! I think I’ve decided to leave it as is and let someone else fix it if they like😊 I watch AP myself, but can’t seem to catch when Roadshow is on. Your so sweet! TFW☺️

I am not well versed on many items of glassware because there are SO many...so that is my disclaimer. lol But here is my imput: The Mid Century Hallcraft piece is probably a lugged (also called lug handled) soup bowl, they are made that way so you can use a spoon or tip to your lips. I can't tell for sure on the green pitcher, may be an Artland Piece. Avocado drinking glasses may be the ones called Autumn Swirl, not sure of a maker, probably about mid 80's. Footed bottle with stopper appears a porcelain dresser perfume bottle, by looks perhaps late 40's or early 50's. I have sold several of the Enid (pronounced EEEE nid with a long E sound) Collins purses over the years. I would not replace anything unless I could assure it was authentic replacement parts. You can find those if you keyword Enid Collins Replacement pieces and parts on ebay etc. I have sold them for almost as much not replacing anything at all. I would also put it on auction with a decently outrageous reserve first to see what it fetches. In that condition my best guess is probably around 125 is top dollar (or so) due to the popular beach/fish design.

Woo hoo on the Longaberger basket sales; ya just gotta love an avid collector! Sorry, not much help on your seven items, but on number one, I would look up art glass two color hand blown pitcher. The pitcher looks mid century to me. The glassware pieces, I would check with Michelle with Thrifting 101 or Scott with The Old Curiosity Shop. Number four, the Hallcraft piece looks to be a spoon rest. Number six looks like a perfume bottle set for a ladies dressing table, mid century. Number seven, the Collins purse, I would sell 'as is' and state 'in original condition' in your description. Glad you are doing so well at your booth and online. TFS.
