I saw the toy I found last month. Using a metal detector inside a former railway culvert. Build date was after 1905 and was designed to channel cows between pastures. This toy was ,made by National and retailed as a 'SEMIAUTOMATIC' capgun. Requiring four fingers to squeeze a spring-loaded stamped metal feature that retracted into the grip to advance a cap roll between discharges. Something caused the shooter to drop that toy and prevent a return visit to recover it. This area beside the Salish Sea remains a cougar habitat. Bears had last visited in the 1980's.

Beg to differ. Purchase any magnet with enough lift capacity to lift shoulder firearms. Out of English canals and other waterway having public-use access. Recommend vacated railway or lorry brides over water. Use an 11 mm static rope with no stretch. When you see military aerial bombs, ammunition cases, cannon shells, hand grenades... stop lifting. Leave the immediate area and summon law enforcement. Experts are needed to evaluate if the find must be detonated as is or extracted for examination. Please avoid becoming odd smoking pieces blown elsewhere by a violent explosion.
