Antique Firetrucks GALLORE- Bringing our Mack CF home for the Summer!

Mikey, Darryl, and myself make the trek up to the Historical Society's Warehouse to pick up our 1988 Mack CF Firetruck for the summer. While there we look at the hundreds of antique firetrucks on site. Had a little scare on the way home, but all is well and we made it home safe and sound. Thanks for watching!

Wow nice to see the yellow banana Seagrave quint again,it served Lebanon Pa up until 1976 designated Truck 20. 85' stick,was a great ride back in the day. Belonged to Rescue Hise Co.#4 Chauffeured by local 1952 IAFF.

That Mack TDA is from Long Beach, CA they were a big Mack department for awhile. I work for LA City and we are thinking about about getting a Crown good luck on your project.

Imagine if you had all those trucks fully restored especially the older ones that's like bringing back fire rescue history cas those old trucks saved lives before what we got now but restoring old trucks like those with all original parts are extremely hard to come by and expensive

That white Mack among all the “B” models is actually an “L” model. Many of the Mack “C” model tillers actually had Maxim aerials if it was in FDNY service.

I just came across your video. I have lived in Sidney Ohio all my life where they built Mack firetrucks just down the street from where I grew up. I was only 7 or 8 when they moved out I think in 1962 ? I remember seeing the trucks inside the building when we drove by.

I was a Jr. FF outta Moorestown FD in Burlington Co. NJ back in '92. I'll never forget my first ever run. 1st call, ran as in the Ofc. Seat in a 74 or 75 CF to an alarm system at Moorestown Friend's School. 1st call in my life...got recalled as we pulled up. When you started your truck at about 19 min., I had a total flashback to that night. Thanks.

Beautiful old CF you guys have there. Very nice !! Wasn't aware this particular historical society facility even existed. Spotted a few old MAXIM'S in there. One of my faves. Overall a very impressive assemblage. Reminds me of the Andy Leider Collection. Look forward to your future vid's. Thanks.

Good to see that ex fdny Seagrave in storage. It’s being restored. I did a Walkaround video of it last year when it was still with the FDNY. Was one of the first trucks down there and Survived the collapse of the World Trade Center on 9/11!

brake light on older Mack they all do that when you pull the maxi on there is a light on the dash and your brake light comes on when the key is on the on position

I'm pretty interested in older emergency vehicles so this is cool as hell lol, I noticed my hometown's old Mack CF quint (I think it's a quint) on the right at 9:30! Even though I don't remember much of it, I still miss it, I think it was sold in the early 2010s, we even used to have a Jeep M715 brush truck too

Our Mack similar to the pumper was a five-speed that didn't have synchronizers so you had to double -clutch it to change gears. The cab that was round in the front kinda put the driver and bell-ringer way out front.

so that ex Fdny rig was kept at my firehouse engine 168 / ems station 23 on Staten Island, it was used as a spare for the boro. it was spare engine 513. from what I was told that rig was the current oldest rig in the Fdny that was also in 9/11. might have some pics of it still inservice as of a few months ago if you want

Great question, when we bought this in 2021, it had been sitting for 15 years and was unknown told it ran. We paid 3500. Now for a rig in this shape that is a little high, but we wanted it badly enough!

The Mack TDA is a CF-700. It should have the 864 V8 with a twin-turbo system. And it has a Maxim trailer, but the Mack sign on the ladder is a bit confusing.

The California tiller has a Mack CF TRACTOR. the ladder is a MAXIM aerial, not a Pirsch! Mack built their ladder trucks with MAXIM ladders.
