こんにちわ　フランスは古い物を大切にする文化だから蚤の市には何十年も前の物が あるんですね。日本はアメリカ式消費文化だから私なんか何でも捨ててしまいます。 でも最近、動画を拝見していていい物はいつまでも大切にしないとと思う様になりました。 番組で蚤の市の達人がときめいた物に出逢ったらすぐ買うことと言ってました。 素敵なグラスに出逢えてよかったですね。

This was another great flea market video. I liked the old Victorian photo album around the 6:05 mark. Though it was designed for cabinet cards (photos mounted on cardboard), it would make a lovely portfolio for your small sketches. Limoges is interesting. It is considered the best porcelain in the world. There are many different porcelain studios and factories in Limoges and not all of them use a factory logo. France has a stamp to indicate the porcelain comes from the Limoges region where the kaolin, feldspar and quartz needed to make fine porcelain are found and some factories will use only that designation. So Limoges marks can mean they are made in any number of factories in Limoges. It would be interesting to study the different factories there and collect some if them.

To be honnest, the kaolin quarries have been long depleted, the last one closed in 1978, and nowadays all the kaolin is imported. Limoges is the capital of the (former) region of Limousin, when people say "c'est du Limoges" it means "it's porcelain from Limoges", but yeah, there are many brands. The most important ones are Bernardaud, Haviland, Raynaud, Deshoulières, and Royal Limoges, but you can find other brands around Limoges like Médard de Noblat, plus a bunch of small manufactures. You can visit some manufactures like Bernardaud too, and there's still an old porcelain furnace on the banks of the local river that you can visit as well. As someone from Limoges, I have to say I often wince and feel like they're being scammed when I see the prices the sellers are asking for porcelain and faience in those Parisian (and others, it's not limited to Paris) fleamarkets and brocantes, as in Limoges and around you can easily find the same second-hand tableware, but for 10% of the price.

素敵なコップですね。 つい先日、関西ローカルの「やすとものどこいこ」という買い物番組で、ヴィンテージ食器を扱うお店が紹介されていたのですが、まさにこのコップと同じ色で、こちらの動画のコップと同じねじれの模様が入っているお皿が何種類か紹介されていました！ そのお皿を見て、こちらの動画をすぐ思い出し、パリから来たものなのかなぁと想像を巡らせていました！ いつかパリの蚤の市、行きたいです！
