Your paneling is not only gorgeous but so very practical since without I'm not sure how you would hide all this electrical. The 19th century builders of the chateau were miraculously forward thinking! They futures proofed without even knowing it.

When I noticed Terry's breath, I knew it had to be cold on the house. You guys kept going anyway. The end result is really beautiful. The warm glow reflecting off the paneling is magical, so romantic. Great effort equals great results.🏆Bravo! ❤️from TX!

The lighting is perfect. I think finding the servants staircase was a sweet find! I’m right there with Ash’s affinity about spiders. We have “Black Widows”! They creep me out to no end! I found that when I use a Wasp spray on them, you can spray them from (at least) 20feet away and pretend to be brave! Hope that helps Ash! Good luck on that.

The lights look wonderful and give such a warm glow to the space without in any way compromising the age and style of the chateau - no mean feat! Yet another job well done. It would be really interesting for those of us who don't have your skills and talents, to have an idea as to how long jobs like this actually take you. Obviously each video is filmed over several days but a more precise idea of hours/days/weeks (?!!) involved would help us, or me at least, to fit each task into the timescale for the overall project. And we'd be even more admiring of both your work ethic and your efficiency! If that were possible!!

I would gladly repoint a wall, and I would happily refinish every inch of that beautiful wood paneling. Indeed, there are dozens of tedious, repetitive tasks that I'd find meditative and satisfying around the chateau. But running conduit? There's absolutely no way I'd have the patience to do that! And you do it so well! It's wonderful to see light returning to the old girl!

Terry, my heart goes out to you!! There you stand, explaining about the electrical conduit, clad only in two tee shirts on your upper body, with the condensation of your breath streaming out of your mouth as you speak!! It's obviously freezing in the tower stairwell. I would be shivering with the cold and there you are with a stiff upper lip. Kneeling and bending over on the floor as you snake the conduit behind the paneling, your shirts ride up exposing your bare lower back to the cold. No complaints, you just "crack on!!" What a trooper!! You are a hearty man!! God bless you!! ❤❤❤ I was relieved when you donned a hoodie. Then Ash comes, dressed the same way but calling attention to the cold. And you agree Terry, with "Yeah, it's cold." (sotto voce) Then a few frames later, you are back kneeling on the floor again without the hoodie!! Amazing dedication!! However, your endurance was rewarded with the end result: a wonderful warm glow in the tower stairwell provided by those beautiful sconces!! ❤❤❤ you blokes!! Chuck in Northern New England

You're also brave, I would be running if I saw those spiders! Eeeeeee! When I was younger, I had real bad arachniphobia, but now I am older , and it is not bad. One time When I was in my twenties I was in a Pet store and my friend told me not to turn around, and of course I did, and a huge tarantula was in a glass aquarium in front of me. I screamed and ran so fast that I scared the living daylights out of everyone in the store. I got desensitized over the years, thankfully. Cheers, guys.
