I love that silver mesh purse that Grandma V found at the beginning of the video! I had one that was my great grandmother's and I have no idea what happened to it! Time to start digging through my own boxes! When you guys got to the box of egg beaters, I thought this was a video I had already seen, but nope, you had already found a ton of them! They would look great as wall decor in a mom and pop type restaurant somewhere! I sure hope you find them all good homes! LOL Love these unboxings! 👍

Many vases back then (& still are) made with what they call a weighted bottom. They put plaster, cement or something in the bottom to give it more weight, stabilize it & to keep it from falling over too easily.

Not liquid silver but more of a chain maille. Liquid silver are more in the type bead used in necklaces - prominent in SW Indian tribes of the 60's and 70's. I don't mean to say the purse isn't sterling! Just not liquid. ;-)

I had a good family friend & co-worker that lived in Big Bear. Maybe you knew her, her name was Dana Payne, I think that was her married name. If I'm remembering right her maiden name was Martin. Her husband was Ray Payne & he was a fireman up there. They had a couple of kids & her daughter's name was Rayna, the combination of both their names. I think she had a son named Ray Jr but right now I can't remember. She passed away awhile back but I really loved her. Please let me know if you knew her & maybe her family. BTW loving these videos! Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

These look like vintage Takahshi stainless steel sliverwares from Japan. My family used to have a bunch of vintage oil kerosene lamps, it used to be an hot item 30 years ago. I remember people were collecting them. When eBay came to life, the market flooded because there was so many of them. Looks like the $100 tag might been from the 90's. Depends on the color or the designs of the glass. Most of them go for $15 to $65 each. It a vaseline depression glass, Wade is right, it is old and called a uranium glass. I'm pretty sure the oven proof brown drip casserole dish is McCoy, it maybe from the 80's, again sometimes they don't always mark them. The other dish looks lighter brown I thought it was Hull Co., but I'm not sure? It must been the same person who brought these together at the time. It is from the 80's sometimes they mark is USA. These are from France, Arcoroe Octime black dishes from the 1980's, they look more modern. Wow these are good Arby's glasses from 1985. That's awesome find!! :)

Those number might be auction numbers. It looks like they went to better auctions where you can get better & higher quality antiques & vintage stuff. Items that aren't chipped, broken, new old stock, with or w/o the box, etc. That's the feeling I've been getting as I watch your videos. It also looks like they came into some money in 2007, because that date seems to be on many of the items you've shown. Or just maybe they figured heck with the kids, we'll just go crazy & enjoy spending their inheritance on buying what we love! LOL 😂 Just a guess but that's what I'm thinking. 🤔
