Beautiful restoration of a common vintage tool! Totally amazed you shaped two handles without a lathe. You are brilliant! I love the use of the copper, my favourite element also.🤗🇦🇺

nice work - these old tools were built for eternety, glad there's someone who takes care of 'em to make them reach that goal!

Great job on the restotransfomation. That is what you do!!! You take a neglected tool and return it and then some to its former glory!! I inherited a draw knife from my dad and it is still able to work! Thanks for sharing this video!! The Old Army Scout…

Wonderful job! The handles are almost too good for the drawknife. Beautiful. (I'm surprised you didn't address the small crack.)
@ReXtorer7 ай бұрын
I saw that crack. This is a technical crack that was formed during the manufacture of this tool. It does not affect work.
@mred80027 ай бұрын
No impact for this tool, and the forces on that section are small. Maybe in another century or two it might need a weld!

Ładne uchwyty, ale zupełnie nie pasują do tego narzędzia. Szkoda że nie zostawiłeś tych starych, gdyż były w dobrym stanie i miały swój urok. Albo trzeba było odtworzyć identyczne.

6 out of 10, you neglected to do anything about the crack in the steel on one side. It will be a future point of failure for the steel and looks ugly to boot. Expected better work from you based on other videos.
