10/10 restoration, only criticism I have is that when reassembling the handles and blade together, you put the latch handle as the "safe" handle for flipping the knife, it's supposed to be on the "bite" handle of the knife. Quick explanation for people who don't know much about butterfly knives and its flipping techniques, the bite handle as inferred by the name is the handle that the blade faces when closing, meaning if you are holding that blade and flipping it, your chances of being bit by the knife increases. The safe handle is self explanatory since it's the opposite of the bite handle. The latch goes on the bite handle both for comfort, practicality, and because of some tricks involving the latch. Your work on restoring the parts is amazing 10/10, just the reassembly I'd say is just because you probably didn't know that much about the knife, I assume that is the reason since anyone I've met who loves butterfly knives immediately starts flipping it when its in their hands.

Your restoration, as always, is 10/10. The knife design, however, gets a 1. 1 severed femoral artery.😂

Never owned one of them but found a few..always damaged loose bent an blunt..just used them as a screwdriver as a kid..also band in🏴Scotland..blades have to be under 3" and has to be a fixed blade i think🤷🏻♂️..outlawed guns completely because of one school shooting by an adult but knife crime has always been as common as getting a taxi

Al ser una navaja retráctil; no entiendo porque la hoja es mas larga que la empuñadura. Resulta peligroso.

A funny thing about rust is it erodes away material, not add to it like it seems to in this video.

I dont think the orginal use was hunting it looks unique at least i wonder what the unprotected tip was designed for and if there was a leather sheath that it belonged in.

I have what appears to be one of those only newer, in better condition, and lacking guards. Would I carry it? I must own at least 100 better options no matter what the intended use is. You did a nice job on restoring yours. Enjoy and happy new year.
