Antique Rusty Knife Restoration

A restoration without many fancy tools to a knife that was ready to be thrown away.
I have had to sacrifice part of the blade for two reasons:
♦Bad edge shape
♦Central part of the blade tempered (Worn by use)
The result is acceptable, but I have made two very silly mistakes.
First, the rough sharpening I did scratched part of the back that shouldn't have been sharpened.
Second, the mosaic pin was crooked... Reason: in a hurry, I missed it and I couldn't align it anymore.
Although they clearly do not make the operation, they are details that I must try not to commit again, but it seems to me a good example so that you do not repeat it.
I've been making knives for more than three years and I keep making mistakes, gentlemen 🤦‍♂️

-Grinder with discs: cutting and flapper

-Grit sandpaper: 80, 120, 180, 280, 360 and 400
-Bench press
-Epoxy resin

-Double burner forging furnace
