19:58 can you imagine the meals shared and the conversation's that took place around that table? Family meals.. Holidays.. The Thanksgiving feast that was eaten there.. The table is amazing but the thoughts of the family sitting around it.. Priceless! I had forgotten about those mask. Yes, sharp edges and do you remember how those little medal ends would come out of the mask and that stretchy string.. I had long hair and those strings drove me NUTS!! THIS was one of my favorite videos. Fabulous prices and the memories/history they have in that place ... Oh my WOW!! 21:48 OH MY Gracious Dayyyy .. Scott, you found Carol Bradys wardrobe!! That green jacket (?) Looks like something she would have worn in earlier episodes when she had that HORRIBLE shag hair cut. This video is just AMAZING!!! Thank you for sharing with us and letting us tag along. I would LOVE to have a couple grand and hours in this place. Its beautiful!

Scott great video. Columbia is a very historic town almost US capital. The names of the antiques stores Burning Bridge and Toll house refer to historical. Great tour, they were chock full of goodies. The house I grew up in , was a 1948 row home for the veterans. All the doors and molding had that painted graining on them. I guess they got them up fast and cheap, but trying to make them nice.

That was a fabulous shop! I feel bad you had to deal with the heat. It really saps your energy when the temps get that high. You did an excellent job of filming for us. I enjoy the closeups of the wood finishes and knicknacs. I probably would have bought that beautiful muffineer. I love the combination of colors they used to decorate it. The prices were very reasonable on the antique furniture. I understand not all people like antiques but those cabinets are so beautifully crafted of solid wood. The details are exquisite. I NEVER buy new (boring) furniture in a store. The quality and style cannot compare to the old. It's a good thing we don't all have the same taste! :) Enjoy your evening and thanks for sharing your trip! P.S. I prefer your old hat, it may have seen better days but it has character. I like that.

Hi Scott, long time no see on my end! Like your sharing of antique shopping in Columbia, PA. Hi Maya, you've met a terrific person who knows "his antiques" and probably he could inform you of many things at the Tollbooth Antique shop. Scott, just loved seeing all the "wooden" hangers, they are wonderful to have., not the plastic or metal ones we have today. I have a few antique ones advertising men's and women's shops of yesteryear. Seeing the metal kitchen sets, enamel with the drop leaves I remember from my grandparents' home. Loved the handpainted hope chest too. Have a great weekend, from Jersey Ann from NJ

I so understand your frustration...if only. Right?! (I had to pass up a wonderful resin rabbit lamp, he was seated on the grass, reading a book in his lap. I wanted it so-o-o bad, but had no use of it, no place to start a new theme with this large table lamp...sigh.)---GYPSY.---Hmm...never heard of that super girl show!---My Girls' day out to the neighboring town for breakfast and antiquieing turned out to be very nice. It' always warmer, & the big old shop has no heat or air conditioning, so we always swelter. But yesterday, the temps were moderate. No sweltering!---Thanx for the road trip.

14:15 -- looks like a gypsy version of Liza Minelli! LOL! I'm sure that piano stool at 18:00 bore witness to the live performances of many a Scott Joplin tune! Noteworthy mention also goes to the secretary desk at 15:50, as it reminded me of my grandmother's old secretary desk. The front would scroll up to reveal the writing surface and supplies inside.

Once while traveling I visited an old three story grain building; in one booth was mahogany furniture that came from a retired judges residence. Beautiful pieces I still own to this day. That Red Blanket Chest 🙀. I made it to the end of the video.
