Do those platters have a uranium glaze like some of the Hall pottery?

Scott, it's 3rd week in January...moved in the last 1/2 year and did not decorate. Loved watching you put your special touch on the bungalow. Thought you lived there forever.

Thank you for this. I've been trying to play some organ pieces on my electric keyboard. It didn't sound right (or close to right) if I didn't use the sustain pedal. Lol Now I know why. Lol Thank you so much for this. It clears up everything. Now I'll try it your way without the sustain pedal.

You had me laughing when you showed the vases; one, two, etc.

Sure, modern technology is a royal pain, but I look at it this way. If Hammond B3 organ players have to watch what keys both hands are pressing on and what pedals both feet are pressing on, then I suppose I could take the time to figure out how to work a digital camera.

You're observation of the "Brazilian" whatever it was, had me laughing more than I have in ages. Reminded me of the time I was in Tijuana, about 30 years ago, and I went into what I thought was a bar, and turned out to be a house of ill-repute. A fascinating afternoon, and if I'm ever sitting with you on your front porch sipping lemonade, I'll tell you all about it. Anyway, great fun, thanks!

The Crooksville rust bouquet platter that I got at my Goodwill is the one that was in the back of your 2 platter set. I displayed it proudly on a plate stand this fall.🍁Always fun to come home and find a video from Scott and his old curiosity shop 🤗. Be safe Sunday in the snow ❄️. Your biggest fan from Ridley Park Pennsylvania.😊

Hey Scott a happy chilly day to you from Memphis! You mentioned holding up the tree bark vase in marigold would get a laugh from carnival collectors but gosh you know even as a carnival collector I just love walking in the thrift store and picking up everyone I see and although I never put them in the cabinet I absolutely love putting flowers in them and using them around the house and office! You also gave me something to do today and that was getting out my old hartung book from 1964 on carnival to read about tree bark! It's a early pattern I learned and I couldn't remember the exact history. I learned from the book: Carnival Glass, Marion T. Hartung 1964, Second Edition that Janette ran this line from 1927-1929! Also I learned of the candle vases made from the same mold that I've never seen and they are absolutely stunning so be sure to keep your detached retinas peeled for them!
