For a long time my sister and I looked for a Lefton teapot in violet pattern for her collection. One day went into a local consignment shop and there it was on top shelf. Bought it and surprised sis with it. She was just recovering from cancer and I was so happy she now had it in her collection.

I have been junking for years, since I was young I am now 72. I have collected and let go of a lot of good finds. I still very much enjoy the hunt, but my wish list has gotten a lot shorter, I would like to find a Campfire Marshmallow tin, butter pats, tomato spoons, and metal flower frogs.

I've had A wish list for awhile. I see you guys on here finding most of the things i want all the time! But I just haven't been lucky enough to find them🫤 A scale is also on my list! No postocular brand, just old. I want a Dundee! I'd love A piece of the purple transfer wear. I really want a candle snuffer & wick cutter, can't even find one! I do want some jadeite! I'd like to have A couple pieces of the green depression glass too. I collect oil lamps but there are some that I'm still looking for. And I want a wood rocking horse, a small to medium size for a shelf.. I also want a brass one. I'm wanting a Hoosier style cupboard, a 2 gal crock , and the Butterfly Gold Pyrex set. I recently found a small casserole dish with the lid in perfect condition at Goodwill for $8. I grew up with seeing these dishes but now I'm obsessed. Happy hunting❣️

Your wish list is similar to mine. I want the picket fence bowl in cream as well. I have my Grandma's Jadeite batter bowl....since then I've slowly collected several pieces which go beautifully with the white ironstone and antique wood pieces. Having a bucket list is what makes collecting fun.

Love your list, I was shocked when I started looking for a piece of Jadite for my daughter and it was so expensive for s small creamer. My mother had the whole set of Heartland dishes when she passed and I didn’t need them. 🤦‍♀ Last year my son went thru a divorce and we helped him set up house. We went thrift shopping and he picked up some of the Heatland dinner plates, and cereal bowls. I said are you sure you want those and he said yes I always like these dishes and they remind me of Nana! 😢🤦‍♀ So sweet. I like to collect white ironstone, pink depression, amber ware, and antique dishes. 😊❤😊

Genevieve, We have a gem of a place over the bridge from you. It’s in Malvern, PA. Called Dishfunctional. Look them up. They may have the dishes you do want. I have added and subtracted from dish sets in the past. Plus I have sold dishes to them. They used to be here in West Chester, but moved to Malvern, Frazer a few years ago.

I love the hunt! I collect brown, blue and pink (red) transferware, china platters, various china patterns, crystal pieces and ironstone. I have many other collections, as well - so the hunt is often successfully thrilling! Good luck hunting!

I’m hunting for a two gallon crock for my wooden spoons in the kitchen, I’d love to have some really old bread boards, and a bakers rack or old pie safe one day!!! Of course I still love ironstone & chunky restaurant ware but I’m also finding myself drawn to cabbage ware or lettuce ware!!! ❤ We don’t have too many actual antiques here in Alaska & things are very hard to find!!!

Love your collection ideas! I have a small collection of Jadite. I love it! Pioneer woman came out with a line of it. Its not quit the same. But its pretty! I had a covered cake dome & broke it. Thank goodness it wasn't the original!

You should try getting an antique gun cabinet with a glass door. They’re slim and I’ve seen them used to store quilts and they’re cheaper than regular cabinets.

I never buy a whole set of something either, it's much cheaper to get it piece by piece. I had those swirl mixing bowls! There is a 5th tiny bowl that was a promotional give away, not very many made and I found it! That was the best thing I ever found. I ended up selling them when we moved cross country, they helped pay for our move, and I was so afraid of them getting broken. I also have that creamer and sugar dish, I actually have a whole set of Jane Ray that I pieced together. I love the old jars that were in Hoosier cabinets. They are the glass that glows under a black light, I am always on the hunt for those. I think you have an impressive list, it's going to be fun. You need to start going to big flea markets, that is so much fun.

I have few items, but my top 2 are a Borden milk box (probably never find so maybe another milk brand), and a coffee grinder. Either too expensive or not in good shape. I love Ironstone and fridgies too. Found some fridgies, but same, either too expensive or not in good shape.

I collect and on the hunt for vintage tablecloths from 40's÷50's. I had 53 of them and when we moved 3 yrs ago ...I downsized to 28. Looking for a blue patterned one..not light blue or dark blue..but blue. I'll know it when I see it. Take care.

Did you say “fence bowl”? Is that the decoration on the bowl or the style? I just bought a plain white bowl like that. No decorations on it though. I don’t know what type of bowl it is. Like if I were trying to look up the style what would I google? I paid $25 for it and it is about 10 inches in diameter and about 7 inches tall with lots of crazing. I love it! Jadite seems so hard to find now but it is beautiful! Never seen ironstone out in the wild before lol. I really enjoy your videos ❤
