Featuring ivory figures collected by a man nicknamed 'Steptoe' by his family, a pair of valuable Chinese imperial bowls once used as plant pots, a necklace of very ancient stones, and a collection of handbag mirrors.

The thing we've lost in this automated age is the pure joy of craftmanship that comes from a thing well made by someone who put all their love and attention into it. I know people say sneakers will be worth collecting and worth money in future, but they're factory made pieces of plastic that will deteriorate into nothing but piles of fabric and plastic bits. A well-made piece of 16th century furniture or a clock from the 17th century will probably last another 400 years if looked after.

As an American it's extremely complicated and difficult to comprehend the concept of the, royal system. I know their mostly ceremonyal but the people are paying million tax free bucks a year plus a staff of 42, immunity from prosecution for the king and all his holding.The people are paying for that decadent coronation and they can't even attend! Mary actually grew up in a castle 😳 how is that qualifications for anything real? But I'm not of that culture

I'm embarrassed by my countries decent into corruption and chaos and I'm fearful this delusional dictator might actually take the white house in this upcoming presidential election. He's promised to disrupt the successful negotiations of Biden encouraging Putin to "do whatever the hell he wants" with Europe and will destroy what tethers we have remaining in this experiment of democracy we call the United States. So when you're sarcastic remarks are meant to chastise another nations crisis and remain smug ignoring that disfunctional mess called Parliament, if you could get your head removed from your posterior you would know enough to be worried about the effect on the global level. Did this answer your cheap dig well enough? Oh by the way is Charlie going to abdicate so the fairytale you're selling about billy the brave and Katie the pure will need the English people to foot the entire bill again for the elite class of your society and watch another coronation commencement with a disgracefull show of drama with the flourish while some delusional power will decend upon billy the brave to make him into the divinely chosen one. While the real financiers paying for the decedent show of jewels and the immensely priveledged to dine on their dime can't even step on the floor of Westminster Abbey. Yup I got it ...go you royals ... billy and you get that door prize cuz you billy ascended to become the controller and leader of your very own religion!
