How funny that my absolute favorite piece that you thought was ugly. Yes , the alabaster fruit bowl is stunning!!!!!!!!!! I can't even imagine removing the fruit. It is such an elegant piece of decor. To me , its timeless art.

Nothing better than antiquing in the Hudson Valley. My brother-in-law has an antique restoration business in Hudson. Hudson might be the antique capital of the world. That’s all Warren Street is. Except for some really nice cafés and restaurants. Next time you’re in the area you should try Farmer and Sons near the train station. Fabulous. Almost everybody that works there graduated from the CIA. My nephew in law is the general manager and head cocktail inventor.

Hey guys, the first piece (tea pot) you got is quite a famous pattern in Germany - the dishware line is called indischblau and was produced by the company Winterling. If you ever come to Germany you will finds lots of those dishes in second hand stores or antique shops. We have a small set from my husbands grandma and love to use it for Sunday breakfasts :) it's beautiful!

It was so interesting watching you go to these places. I have a country home in Kingston, NY so you were in my hood. I used to shop at these stores years ago, but I never shop in Kingston, Rhinebeck, or Hudson for antiques anymore because they are so overpriced.

Love the butter pat dish and large silver shell dish from England as well as first set of delicate silver candleholders that are Andrew’s least favorite😂 Also want your sweater and think Andrew should lose the mustache.

Alll the silver!😍😍 my sweater was an old one of my mom’s she was getting rid of! I love it so much! And hahahaha I’ve gotten used to the stache but definitely prefer without too🤣 (here’s hoping it’s just a phase)

The small shell dishes are for pips. Would be at the side of each plate, when eating fruit after your food the pips, seeds or stones would be put in the dish. (very genteel)
