Yes I'm back with more ANTM content! This is episode that I was eliminated from America's Next Top Model. I cover the photoshoot for the Dream Come True fragrance and analyse my not so fabulous performance!

I feel like until recently, instead of designing outfits and makeup to compliment our skin and hair, it was looked at as something you’d have to work around. Not to mention, not nearly enough people knew how to work with black hair. I remember one designer saying that he loved Sophie’s blonde hair and blue eyes and that she was the kind of “beautiful” girl he was looking for.

Yeah I've had that feel a lot in my modelling career. Such a shame...but i do beleive it's getting better

Maybe Sophie did say that you were also competition but was edited, by this point Sophie knew no matter how good of a model you are if you fail in one thing you're gone (like what happened to Azmarie) if she didn't consider you competition she was being naive. Yessss Annaliese YOU ARE INSPIRING! You are one of the few ANTM girls that are still working as a model and that is because you work hard to reach your goals! You have determination I will always admire that in you because we all need to be like you, fight for our dreams! Love from Costa Rica!

For as much as you struggled during this shoot I have to say your shot was my favorite of the three! Also I did a little googling and apparently Dream Come True did make it to production and you can still buy it via Amazon. Maybe you can do a review of it down the line?

And now it finally makes sense. IT WAS VERY UNUSUAL OF YOU to be like that in a shoot. I would also be so frustated if it happened to me. Doing a whole shoot with hair #1 then changing it knowing it was not working out for them, really is frustrating especially when they're giving you a vibe right from the start that they dont like everything. Then you get stressed out with their expressions until you overthink in the whole shoot. You still did well! Love lots from the Philippines💕

Yup you nailed it... if defo was frustrating and I just didn’t feel good. However if this was now in the real world it wouldn’t have affected me.

girl, as a florist, i love that u always have fresh cut flowers. such a nice touch! 🌸💮🌼💮🌸 however, your vase water triggers me. in the past it has been scuzzy, and today some of the stems aren't even in water. your roses are wilted, but they can be revived if u recut the stems and add water. please always give your stems a fresh cut just before putting in water and remove any foliage that'll fall below the waterline. change the water if it gets cloudy (or every couple days), and recut stems if ever out of water over 30 seconds.🌷🌹🌻🌷🌹🌻 your beautiful flowers will last much longer.

I'm sorry you had such a crap time but I always thought the pictures looked gorgeous. The tule and Photoshop perfume whiff effect and the black & pink combo did it for me. The hair thing is crazy. I like the exec going "we shot over 200 pics of Annaliese" implying they had to take loads of pics of you to get a good one. Nevermind the fact that 200 isn't that much (I mean, it is for one look and one setup but not for a whole photoshoot) they cleverly skip over the fact they had to redo your shoot with diff hair. Princess Annaliese got her crown in the end, KZbin princess. Outfit check queen. And she's got quite the king by her side. ;)

It felt so clear that the stylist came up with a concept for a white girl, specifically with white people hair. Like, the first hairstyle looked like they tried to do the same idea as to what they did to Laura's hair: straight at the top and then cascading into waves and curls. I feel like you can style someone so that it fits both the person and the concept, but they had a pre-selected style and outfit, which honestly could've ended up screwing all 3 of you over. It just so happened that it worked for Sophie.
