My mother absolutely loved this song and we listened to it together time and time again. She's no longer with us, but whenever I hear it it's like she's right there with me. Thank you, Antoine!

I dedicated this song to my very first girlfriend. I never felt love before and I still remember to this day how she made me feel. She was perfect... but she was all the way across the states(I was in Virginia and she was in Texas). We never saw each other, but that love was real. We talked every single day, before and after school, for hours, and on weekends we would talk all night until the sun came up. I remember her telling me how beautiful this song was when I sent it to her. I thought I was going to be with her for the rest of my life... but she ended up getting really sick, and passed away. For years I couldnt listen to this song, it hurt way too much. This is the first time I have heard this song in over 6 years... and it still hurts. R.I.P. Sarah. I still miss you.

Elijah Martin I'm sorry to hear man. A good buddy of mine was murdered and this song has always brought him to mind. Many people would call it stupid, selfish, bullshit. Fuck them. He was a good guy and did not deserve to go as he did. Let those feelings out, brother. Wish you the best.

I misread "technique" as language... but is music not, at its core, a universally understood language? Feelings are spoken through it, thoughts are conveyed with it. It is structured, yet fluid. It can be interpreted in many ways.

This is why I hesitate to do anything with music. When you see something this amazing and beautiful you have to question if what you're bringing to the table is really worth anyone's time.
@rmaldo2710 жыл бұрын
That's where you messed up. Music isn't about thinking what everyone else is going to feel. It's about how you feel about it, and you're only job as a musician is to make others understand where you're coming from. Success varies. Yeah, this guy isn't on the radio, but look at the following he has on KZbin. Anybody can live this life, dude. You just have to possess the ambition.

Today, i can play 7 songs of antoine Dufour, 2 songs of Andy Mckee, 1 song of Ewan Dobson and trying to play more! I started it playing "Catching the light", and i still training until today.
