Eddie van der Meer Nice song mate! Cool big sound. Lots of space. Very nice mood. Very full. I think there's a bit much saturation somewhere when you play harder parts. Are you using 2 reverbs? If so, one of them is a bit bright to my taste but that's my own personal choice. I don't like when the hits on the strings are getting to heard in the reverb like a tissss sound. But ya know, it's just an opinion because you ask. You'll see what i mean in the video about fx. But great job overall, it really sounds good. Keep it up!

The definition of those notes is purely the sonic properties of the wood. That piano like qualities in which we all love and hear is that wood combo! Cedar is very piano like in itself, it is very harmonious, has lots of depth, even with light finger picking or strong picking, you never seem to lose the over all clarity in a succession of notes or best of all CHORDS. The East Indian Rosewood gives the instrument a bit more midrange, thus giving you a very moving instrument lots of bass, lots of midrange, great for fingerpicking. The Fingerboard I assume to be ebony. I LOVE EBONY for fingerboards. Very quick and snappy, once again loads of clarity..... You my friend have my FAVORITE wood combo for acoustic guitars... Not to mention an OM model. God damn.... I digress. GREAT CHORD (Tuning)!

It seems not many people know just how difficult recording solo acoustic guitar is for someone inexperienced, and there isn't nearly enough help out there on it. For someone like you to have done so much work with not just your own but other people's recordings and with such great sound to do this is a gift from the heavens. Also, and I'm not sure if that's a closet or not, but having your beautiful harp guitar tucked away in the dark like that makes it seem a bit lonely, I'd put that thing on a revolving stand in a lit up glass display case if I could it's so damn pretty! Or maybe it's a separate room and I'm just an idiot :\

Hey, Antoine! I like this new series you're going to start. I have a Furch G-23 CR (much like the Stonebridge you used to have). Would you choose those Ernie Ball strings over Elixir Phosphor Bronze? Furthermore, what gauge string do you use? I like to play in your tunings and I find that sometimes 12s of the Elixir don't withstand these tunings for very long. Thanks! By the way, are you going to be at Winter NAMM this year? My dad met you last year, I'm Nigel (if you at all by chance remember meeting him). I'm a huge fan and it would mean the world to me if you responded to my comment. I'm working on "These Moments" right now. Haha.

where did you get the odd tuning but sound great? how come of that idea of tuning? First i cover your song '30 Minutes in london' it just woww when i first hearing it. I have no idea how to pull it off from the recording. So, I decide to buy a set of tab. and it took me so looooooong to play it.Today I STILL dont know what am i playing on that song!!!

I ended up finding this tuning working on an arrangement of a Coldplay tune that I played a few times live now. I found the tuning by looking for certain sounds to be able to make the arrangement. I like it a lot. Tuning is: EbBbCGBbD

Hi Antoine, I would like to know your opinion on seperate pre-amps. Do you use them and do you consider them important? Do you think they add something to guitar recordings or are more something you would use for vocals?
