Really interesting Antoine! I love how you use the pickup just for the bass / low end, I always notice it picks up a really good bass :)

Amazing production advice. I've been putting your techniques into practice and never have I been able to achieve a better sound through my cheap $200 Ibanez acoustic.

Thanks very, very much for giving us all of these insights into your recording process in this series, Antoine! It has been invaluable for me, especially because it helped to crystallize in my mind what aspects of my own studio are NOT a problem when it comes to the quality of my recordings. E.g., "if Antoine can get a sound like that out of gear that isn't all that different from mine, then whatever recording problems I may be having probably aren't going to be solved with more expensive gear". Anyway, although I have been sort of hoping that episode 4 of this series might be coming soon, if that is not the case, I'm grateful for the three episodes that you have created.

***** Maybe a more expensive studio haha. But yeah i guess all you need is a couple of cheap mics and a relatively sound isolated room :)

Great stuff, didn't expect the pickup to be EQ'd like that but good tip. In a future In the Studio video will you be able to go explain your live stage setup as well?

Thanks again Antoine great stuff! One more question: Are all the signals we are listening pre EQ and compression? or is this without EQ or anything else?

Hi Antoine! Huge fan, I have a couple questions, not necessarily about this. One, are you going to be at Winter NAMM this year? Your answer will dictate whether I go or not. Sad that I missed you last year. And second, what kind of strings did you use on your Stonebridge (GS-23-CR)? I have the exact same Furch model and I can't quite figure out a good string to use for your tunings, and mine as well. I wish to have the same type of tone you had, deep but very light. I like Elixir strings, but sometimes it's almost too much high and not enough low, even though they resonate really well. I'd like to hear back, and even possibly talking about your Skype lessons. Again, I don't really expect a reply, but if you do, I'd surely appreciate it!
