She re-emerged in 2018 with the memoir "All That Glitters: From Attitude to Gratitude." Since then, she's been doing media appearances and performing. I was SHOCKED when I came across a then new interview with her. I hadn't seen one since 1990!

I still have my cassette copy of "Burnin' At 20 Below" in prestine condition! I purchased it at a Strawberries Record Store in Seekonk, Ma. in the Spring of 1990. I only had to wait 1 day after it dropped to purchase it because back then albums dropped on Tuesday's & I always got paid on Wednesday's. 😁 I was still in high school at the time working part time. Lol Yes! Antoinette you drove this Hip Hop student crazy back in the day so much that I still remember where & when I bought album #2 😍 💯 💘

Antoinette was dope as hell around 1988'' 89'' Her flow And style was off the hook back then. I always considered her as a underground female mc, because of her style her beats And how she flowed over her beats. It was'nt any other female rapper rappin like her back in 89'' 90'' other than mc lyte.🎶😎

🔥 OMG. Finally!!! Antoinette! She was Absolutely amazing lyrically. I should have known Soren you would get to interview her. You have no idea how much she inspired me bro. No other female MC ever inspired me like her and I'm a Male. Lol. She to me is "The female Rakim". To buss some bubbles..hands down she manhandled MC Lyte. I don't care what anybody says. Lyte was more popular.. Antoinette was more lyrical. I would get into arguments with cats about this. What female MC would get produced by an UltraMagnetic MC " Ced Gee"!?? It broke my heart when she disappeared from Hip Hop. And she destroyed MC Lyte in that battle. Antoinette I hope you read this! You were amazing lyrically.. And love your still true B-Girl attitude 💯💯💯💯

BACK STORY: The feud between Lyte and Antoinette started from a deal that was made between Hurby Luv Bug (Salt-N-Pepa's producer) and the rap duo Audio Two, to record and release a song called, "Stop Illin' ", based on their hit song, "Top Billin' ". Well, according to Audio Two, Hurby was taking pretty long to get the production together, so that's when Audio Two came to the conclusion -- that Hurby wasn't gonna do it. And then one night on a trip back from Boston after doing in-stores and performing, Audio Two had the radio tuned into WBLS, and they heard Mr. Magic and Marley Marl playing Antoinette's joint, "I Got An Attitude." It was the same Audio Two track that Hurby was originally supposed to do for them -- BUT, it was organized in a different way. Now mind you, Antoinette had no idea about any of this, so at the end of the day, she was an innocent victim of collateral damage. Because if anything, Audio Two and Lyte should've set their sights on Hurby for reneging. But instead, Audio Two told Lyte to write a diss track aimed at Antoinette, because according to Audio Two, if they would've done a diss track, they would've looked like the wackest men on the face of the planet, for picking on a woman. Therefore, they got Lyte to do it. The song was recorded at the I.N.S. Studios in New York City, and became a single from Lyte's debut album, "Lyte as a Rock". Then, in 2007, Lyte recalled in the book, "Check The Technique", "It's entitled, "10% Dis", because it was only ten percent of what I could've said. But actually, I didn't even know Antoinette. It was strictly a war on wax."
