je l'ai chanté sous la direction de Salvatore Caputo en octobre 2017 avec comme seul instrument le grand orgue de la cathédrale St André de Bordeaux. Mes plus grands frissons et au bord des larmes!!!!!

If there's one piece of music I blare out at full volume on the stereo, it's this. PLAY VERY LOUD. (I want this at my funeral)

Dvořák je prostě nejlepší! Dvorak is the best! Czech composer, God use him as his voice
have been listening to a number of versions of the Stabat Mater in the last week. THis is definitely my favourite. it has a lustre and clarity that others are missing. Cannot find the entire work- is it just me?

I can well understand why this is so popular, especially at this pace and with such superb diction and sonics but I believe Dvorak's markings indicate walking pace - which, sadly, this isn't.
