Hey, ive been trying to get into speedrunning a little bit (mostly just the first big room of cinnamon springs lol) and was wondering if you had any tips? The fastest ive gotten is 18.067, but you got a whole 3 seconds on me.

only thing i can probably think of is to learn the "rollouts" the antonblast speedrun .com page has a few guides on how www.speedrun.com/antonblast/guides/8zsex but its basically just going into hammer spin after doing something that gives you a speedboost and it locks you at the high speed in the air so you go flying

@snewythe24th I think ive been doing something similar to that, I recently got a 17.324 that I think I could get to sub 17 with some refining in the second half, I have it uploaded if you wanna see it. I'd appreciate tips on it (if you have any other than what you've suggested)

Hey I'm in the same case, well not so much. I'm not in the discord and just watch speedruns of the demo, but in the first room of cinnamon springs I got a 14 second run in that one; My strat Is due to a weird jump when you're about to hit the mole, just make sure to not mess up the aftermath when you'll land and keep making boosts. Edit: if you want, I could try a cinnamon spring run. Maybe... 'cause It takes a hella of practice. Like seriously this guy's speedrun is impressive, specially in the tedious vertical rooms.

Somehow the level is still longer than ctop
