Matt Ryan was solid but I never really believed he had the accuracy in the red zone to take advantage using a weapon like Julio. But your point is valid, can’t just force it just cause lol

How is the receptions stat a reason to go with AB while Julio has way more yards with way less receptions??? I don’t understand how people glorify the receptions stat so much. Sure AB had more TD’s but that’s the only stat AB is better at. Receptions only matter if u actually get more yards😂 not to mention Julio’s injuries making him miss a season and a lot of games and leaving so many games halfway through. And also not to mention Matt Ryan, a much more system qb than Ben, not forcing the ball, unlike Ben, to his #1 receiver and actually using everyone. Julio lacks yards and TDs because of Matt and the system they had in atl. I’d take Julio all day, more yards with less receptions and not crying for the ball. Also Julio is the fastest to every yard milestone beyond 7k yards. Julio also performs in the playoffs unlike AB. If I’m in the playoffs, I’m takin Julio 100%

Yes Julio didnt score many touchdowns bc teams would double him atl realized this and started using him as a clone to get others open for a safer option and yes Julio is big and on paper is a good option in the red zone but the tight end position is still better kitted than Julio jones in these situations
