Yeah, Crawford is more crafty and sets up shots better. Both fighter can place shots with the best of them. The real difference for me is Crawford’s experience and Tarver is spot on about Boots focus at times. I don’t know if he is bored in the ring and that leads to showboating and lack of mental focus. Boots hasn’t been challenged yet on the highest level and that’s what I think it is. Seeing in there with a high caliber opponent is going to reveal a lot about him. We’re going to see how Boots perform when the lights are bright. Wishing nothing for the best for him.

Tarver explains it so well here. Crawford had and was more in control over David A than Boots. Also keep in mind that David A took the fight with Boots on very short notice and only had a few weeks to train. David looked washed against Ennis. I could see it in his eyes. With that said, these guys fought two completely different versions of David A. David was hungry and determined with a full training camp against Bud. I will stand by this and Bud would stop Boots. Not an easy fight, but he would systematically break him down and frustrate the young Lion. I would compare that hypothetical fight to how Mayweather beat a prime and slick Zab Judah back in the day.

Tarver keep it 100% in all of his points. Much respect. I'm a huge fan both fighters but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm not a little bias because I know Boots. Watch both fights (Boot v Ava) and (Bud v Ava). Boot was got touched because he lacked focus in spots, like Tarver said, because didn't respect/fear Ava; Bud was getting touched because Ava was good enough to land good shots on him. (Just my opinion. I'm not here to argue with the keyboard warriors ) I want to see Boots clear the division, get all the belts THEN show the world that he can beat Bud.
