I own this bike and I cannot say enough good things about it. This bike is a good and easy bike to pedal even without any power from the motor. Other great things about this bike are U.L certified both the battery and the motor so there is less risk of fire during charging, I forgot to mention the unboxing and that took all 8 minutes since the only thing I had to do was attach were the handle bars and check the tire pressure. The disc brakes are another big plus for safety. If you you look around on the internet video reviews you might be able to snag a $60.00 off coupon like I did.

I wish Velotric would develop a CARGO UTILITY front rack for this bike instead of a 'basket' style accessory. Also, I am wondering if the Velotric Cargo bike rear basket (if placed on the folding 1 e-bike horizontally) would fit on the rear rack of the Folding 1? What I like about this compact bike is its' ability to carry 440 lbs. There still would be some changes on my behalf to further improve the build of this bike.

Nice video, very well done. This bike looks like a good alternative to the Lectric xp 3.0. Do you know how many amps the controller is? I think it might only be 18. I would consider this bike as an option but I've heard some bad things about Velotrics customer service.

Thanks! I’m not sure what the controller is, The battery is 48v 13ah. It probably is just per case scenario when it comes to support. I haven’t had an issue with them and I know some of my friends have had good experiences as well.

Can manual pedaling increase the battery range?

You will get longer range if you pedal while you ride versus just holding down the throttle

I can make a comparison video, Quick thoughts is that the discover 1 is more ergonomically friendly and comfortable as a cruiser But the Fold 1 folds lol and is more waterproof

​@@AntonioSansonfull disclosure of something critical like that should be part of your review. You also never showed how to take the battery in and out these are basic things people want to know. So it seems more like you're just a paid spokesman then an honest reviewer.
