I'm stoked with my S4 as well. I moved the seat back a bit and added a rear rack extension from a Super 73 S (had to drill a couple holes to fit) as well as a rear basket for grocery runs. I just wish they offered more accessories/parts on their site and stocked the ones they already offer. Update: Moved the seat a bit forward again because the grocery weight so far back made the front too light and squirrely.
@timz754811 ай бұрын
@@stxrobstar Thank you for this comment. Was wondering how the Super 73 rear racks would fit the threaded frameside connections. The one piece seat is nice, and I've added one of the inexpensive rear view camera/monitor setups by 3D printing a mount for above the tail light. Very happy with the S4 overall.

Velotric really needs to make the top speed 28mph for all their bikes because this is still the legal speed for the class 3 e-bikes. Not having 28mph is one of the downsides of their bikes. If they make the nomad 28mph, add rear suspension, and bigger 20ah battery size, both UL 2849 and UL 2271, and cost around $1500, then it would be my perfect bike. Hopefully there will be nomad 2.

The thing i noticed is that they all have concerning negative reviews. G force being the worst having battery issues while the juliet seemingly being the best build quality but still having its own issues I believe you burned the motor for the a8 pro max so i am wary of that one. Ideally the g force 7 might be my choice but thr problem is people complaining about the poor quality. Is this an Amazon thing or did you get it from the store? U believe you also struggled with the g force at some point. I also thought about getting eunorau flash but it wont be as good for exercising :( I don't know what to choose. You did an earlier review of the Asphalt and was pleasantly surprised at its overall performance. I've seen so many reviews of the Asphalt from other reviewers who have also been so surprised as well. The Trail step elite 2 from Furious bikes comes with mag wheels and better components than most bikes in this class for under 2000 dollars. The Asphalt also a great value around 1500 dollars. I wouldn't consider anything else at this point. The Trail step elite 2 is the most gorgeous bike in Red or white that I've ever seen! Furious also puts out a similar bike 24 inch white walled wheeled bike that is pure eye candy called the ROUTE 66 X-class! Asphalt best bang for the buck and Trail step elite 2 from Furious bikes best performing comfort and style as well as torque and especially distance for commute bikes.

I'm new to your channel and I just subscribed. I'm really new to this ,I'm 70 years old .I'm wondering if you actually would sell the actual bike's that you test out. And you could help me to get a bike that would be the best fit for me . I also would come to you to pick it up if this is something you would consider doing. Nevertheless I really like how you show everything about the bike's including putting them together. Thank you Joe

Here using a Benzin-Bike, speed arround 20mph. Would use an eBike if the Range (and then 6-7hours charge...) wouldn't suck. They say 80-100 miles but in reality its 30-40 Miles. With a benzin-bike the range is really 80-100miles, i can take 1 Liter Benzin with me and get another 40-50 Miles...For me a bike don't need more then 2 - 2.4' tires. No need full suspension if not using it as a pure MTB climbing hills... With that 2 changes can save weight, that can be invested in the battery for more Range. Rear Rack is important.

hey ive been watching your channel and some other top 2023 vids. i kinda like your honest fun reviews and bikes the best. not that the other lists are bad i just like your take on things. i think my favorite class is the commuter ebikes bc they have skinnier tires. if the go1 had a 750watt motor i could go for that one. the discover1 is cool but i kinda like how they dont have torque sensors. cheaper too. good prices now. the battery is on top and oddly enough velotric seems to have the best rear basket(med) which i like bc it can carry at least 2 grocery bags. my favorite so far is the hovranger st. i guess it doesnt matter if the battery is on top or bottom of the down tube but top seems easier. i wonder if they mount on bottom for cooling. it is the most expensive of the 3 bikes and only weighs 55lbs, almost 5-10lbs lighter. it has straighter bars and comes w a rack, unfortunately no decent basket from hovsco but the r rack does look stronger. anyway thank you, and ill be sure to use your links when im ready. i have just have to sell a bunch of scooters and bikes first. stay safe and happy 2024. 🌞

🔋 **E-Bike Battery Concerns** - What this review does not cover is who is making the batteries and why that is important. Some of the reviews are covering bikes that have very hazardous specifications on their batteries, and that's a lot of amp-hour power to catch fire. It's important to note that for every amp-hour, approximately 2 liters of gas are released. - The most crucial aspect is who manufactures the battery. - I recommend checking if the batteries are from Samsung or LG. - It's essential to highlight the risk associated with non-reputable batteries. - I want to stress the importance of UL certification for safety. - I'm concerned about potential fire risks with uncertified batteries. - I strongly encourage choosing quality batteries for E-bikes. -Also charge with an explosion proof / fire proof bag e-bike battery bag. Batteries fail in a catastrophic way and it's violent like a rocket launching.

Why are these companies not making 700c, 20+ ah, 750+ w bikes? I would love to find something like the Velotric T1 with a 52v 20+ ah system. Mid-drive with an IGH would just sweeten the deal. Anything like that out there or am I stuck in the DIY realm for something like that?

I heard the T1 ST is bad for exercise because the way the torque sensor behaves and a lot of people saying it has intermittent surges and feels unnatural so im Leary kinda bummed cuz I really thought that might be the ticket, im a cyclist i suppose. I heard one guy say you cam calibrate the torque sensor issue to resolve, just dont know. Wondering what a few options are for a a beefier one with better range ill have to dig in your vids

I was just ust wondering if you have heard anything about Aima Big Sur fat tire e-bike. I was looking into it, but I think you would give the best unbiased opinion.

hope you like it... I love mine which I actually ordered before i saw TailHappy's review of it. But it fit certain specs I needed/wanted in an ebike The AWD was a bonus, had considered the regular H7 version but part of my needs was a 22Ah battery. only the H8 had that another factor was having a hard tail. I wanted a solid frame. I know some people like rear suspension, but I do mostly on pavement riding so no need.

Any chance you would find a low priced ebike with sidecar? I am looking around and see a few but I am new to ebikes and trying to find a good low budget one that has range of 40+ on throttle alone and 28ish mph speed or more but hoping to have at least a little speed.
