well..most bachateros use yamaha apx series guitars some use the new ones and many use the older models the humbucker is connected to the preamp....disconnecting the pickup the guitar comes with. buy a gibson 57 classic humbucker pickup...its what most use here...not sayin its the best pickup..but to get that "authentic" bachata spound u need an effect pedal that has a chorus effect antony santos uses a ibanez pt-4 or a pt-5 im not sure which but they sound very similar...
