Loved the video! Got a couple questions if that's okay: 1. Was the adds burrowing at almost the end of the boss fight intentional? If so, could you explain or is there an explanation somewhere to that? 2. Do you have any way to accuratelly tell when the adds groups are to close to buff eachother, or will it come with practice? I've read a rule of thumb is having them under Anub's back legs, makes sure there's distance and allows cleave. Thanks for the video, learned a lot of useful stuff from it :D

1. Yah toward the end of the fight you want to burrow the adds so you don't have to deal with them. When they reach 75% they will try to burrow, so just have them off the ice before then. 2. In Plater you can add the Spider Frenzy buff to tracking and it'll show multiple stacks if an extra add is too close. It is mostly just something you learn to eyeball though. Np glad to help!

Curious, what is changing your ability icons? Or are you switching bars to abilities that are macro'd to another ability?

I was using a cleave bar for a while. Basically just my regular bar but with cleave macro'd into all of the rotational abilities for times I was doing aoe with infinite rage. I've since just bound cleave to a better key and stopped using the cleave bar

Hey subtle quick question for you, what class do you think performs better picking up the adds on heroic Anub Rek in ToC? Prot warr/prot pally? I think prot pally is good because they can freedom themselves on the ice and also dont have to move around much. I think I might have already asked you this sorry @SubtleFW=

Hey subtle, how big do you see the value of a block set on anub compared to a balanced set? Is it just for progress sake or you had no acces to better pieces?

Hey, for Prot War I'd prioritize BV and block rating/avoidance gear to try to push as many normal hits off the table as possible and reduce leeching swarm damage with the lower stam

I think prot war will be solid in ICC. Safeguard seems like it'll be amazing for Heroic Lich King, since it aligns perfectly with his Soul Reaper timer

i have a question for you. im also a warrior tank and the wall i keep bumping into is getting the adds and the way my guild has me doing it is to taunt both adds on my side but on the video im noticing that you are tanking one and then a hunter is misdirecting the other one to you but i guess im looking for points to improve. any addon recommendations would be awesome also

The easiest way to pick them both up is to meet the close one about halfway and start threating it. Wait until the back one is almost to the raid, then taunt it and begin threating it. Once you've gotten some solid threat on the back one, just tab target between the 2 to maintain threat. These days I dont even get on the ice until I have both adds on me. Biggest addon recommendations would be Plater and WeakAuras

hey Subtle, do you have a link to you threatplates profile, I cannot get the Buff on the adds to show. 2,3,4 etc depending on how many are close.

I won't be home for a few days to update it but if you type /plater and go to one of the Buff tabs, you can manually add Spider Frenzy to your list of tracked buffs

If you're playing on a pserver it won't be possible AFAIK. That was an update that came later and they added it to classic

Blood draining for pure survival, accuracy for pure damage/threat, and mongoose for a mix of each. Depends what you want. Slow weapons will be more more damage from devastate and a lot more from deep wounds, but fast weapons are the tank statted ones, so if you need survivability, you'd want to use a fast

Yah my war is stam or stam+hit/exp gemmed in every slot. I gem and enchant a lot safer on prot war compared to pally

Exactly what i do. Stamina in every slot as protwarri. Threat is no problem with this char. On my protpally i have strength and stamina gems. Threat is a big minus as a paladin in my mind.

No it doesn't seem to. Maybe something that happened on PTR but I checked Progress' logs and it definitely doesn't
