I mean, when it had 4 seconds of CDR per target his it was one of the most insanely broken abilities the Nexus has seen. Our Big Bad Beetlebro was like a giant spiky pinball of nigh-invulnerable stuns and it was freaking awesome.

One thing worth noting in the "give locust swarm more love" mindset: it can be a LOT more valuable against teams with more bodies or summons (Samuro, Zagara, TLV) or on maps with monsters in the midst of objective fights (Punisher shrines, defending Alterac cages), or in the middle of waves (spider butts, defending zerg rushes). The ult heals for every target hit, not just heroic targets, and extra targets can make it go from trickle healing to an ancestral really quickly.

I got to play an ARAM game recently with a friend, and he played Anubarak. He did beetle build, and easily was top damage and kills in the game, and the enemy had a hard time killing him. That is a bit scary for a tank.

Awwww I played against pally during an Anubarak warmup game on spider temple, was really hoping it woulda made the A-Z final cut! If you read this pally, i was the tyreal you bated over your towers in the bot lane with like 1 hp then scuttled to the other side, sealing my doom!

The real reason why anub'arak is focused on spell armor is because nerubians are naturally resistant to magic in warcraft. The Lich King was impressed with this.

Anub’arak is one of my favorite Warcraft characters alongside Cairne and his representation in HotS has always made me happy. I felt his kit was great and encapsulated the character superbly. When Butcher(The) got an Ultralisk skin i was livid…LIVID!!! I had wanted an Ultralisk skin for Anub’arak since day one. And the day finally came in which he got his own. Still love his base skin, but i agree, he has many great skins to ride the green magic carpet on P.S. when towers had ammo, his beetles were fantastic at eating an emptying their shots which made Anub’arak decent at sieging

personally I prefer taking the talent that resets cooldowns when going beetle build. It just lets you spawn an insane amount of beetles in a short amount of time.

Love A Noob Arak! This is always my build for him. Biggest problem with ANoob was his E was not really undergrounding him and he could take any hit while “underground”. If you are going to give him an escape, do so, not just give him a cool looking animation. Last time I played him he was not immune, although Pally said now he is immune while underground (last update?).

They tweaked Burrow Charge so that it does not make Anub'arak Invulnerable, only Unstoppable. Previously when the ability was used, Anub'arak could not take damage from any abilities or effects nor be effected by CC of any type. It was especially potent on ultimates such as Pyroblast, where Burrow Charge could just completely nullify its damage-- and it was only a 16 second CD. Back in 2016 they changed it so that Burrow only gives Unstoppable-- he can't be hit by CC, but will still definitely incoming damage.

And also one thing wich makes locus swarm quite good is that every minion heals you too so if you can use it while surrounded y minions and heroes you are unstopable, almost. Indeed, there was a somewhat lengthy amount of time, I think it even coincided with the experimental passive spell armour, where Anubarak was Invulnerable instead of merely Unstoppable during burrow. Was pretty interesting. I dont actually remember many other sources of Invulnerable at the time, I think it was just Divine Shield and Sanctuary.

8:34 I sometimes get flamed when I pick my favorite of the 2 ultimates (Locust Swarm); I think I have only picked Cocoon a handful of times in the past. I try to convince people Locust Swarm is by far the superior choice but people dont listen... The lvl 20 upgrade gives you a lot of healing plus it's a decent dps tool as well

6-0 following your builds. I had some doubts about this build when I saw I was on battlefield of eternity because fewer globes but that level 13 talent just melted the eternal in the late game. No deaths despite some questionable engages on my part probably swarm and the healing beetles. This is a character I don't play much but every time I do I wonder why I don't play him more. Felt like I completely shut down a butcher and li ming this match.
